I went Alexaninan Carpet to get a quote for the purchase of luxury vinyl planking for my basement floor (approx. 850 sq.ft). There I talked to Shane who was very knowledgeable and who even recommended I purchase a less expensive product, than what I had originally picked out, based on the how little the basement was going to be used. The next day he came out, measured the basement and again gave me some good suggestions. Ali and his crew then did an excellent job of installing the floor. I'm very happy with the way the floor turned out and would highly recommend Alexanian carpet for anyone needing new flooring.

Carl from Canada Waterproofeers came out to my house to give me a quote for a leak I had in my basement. He is very knowledgable and approachable and gave me a very fair price. Stas and Andrew, who came out to do the work, were excellent hard workers who did a great job waterproofing my foundation. The product and methods they use are exceptional and allows the company to back up their work with a lifetime warranty. I would highly recommend them if you need your foundation waterproofed.

I called Paul at Paul KIlmartin Drywalling and he got back to me promptly with a good price. His work was great, with no issues and with the drywalling all ready to be primed and painted and when he was done. I'm very satisfied with his work and would use him for any drywalling needs I might have in the future.

All the great reviews you read about Alex and his team get are all true. I had a sewer backup in the main drain of my basement in my house. I called Alex at 9 p.m., sent photos at 9:15 p.m, he arrived at 10 p.m., there was no clean out so he took the toilet out, snaked a camera down the drain, showed me exactly what he was doing, unblocked the drain, put the toilet back on, cleaned up and left by 11 p.m. He was knowledgable, efficient, courteous, professional and friendly. The price was very reasonable, gave me the necessary report to give my insurance company and he followed all the Covid 19 protocols. Impressive. If necessary, I would definitely call him again and highly recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

Derek and his crew removed a tree and tree stump for me in October. They did it quickly, and cleanly with no mess left behind. Also, he charged me $600 less than a quote I received from someone else on Homestars. Finally, my neighbours heat their house primarily with wood and asked me if I could ask Derek to give them the wood. No problem, he cut it up and walked it across the road to their property. I'm not sure what else to say, except, oh yeah, later that day Derek was cutting another tree down in the neighbourhood and also brought that wood over to my neighbours as well. They were ecstatic. I'm not sure why you would hire anyone else, he comes with my highest recommendation.
