Thankfully, sometimes the reviews are actually right, count your blessings when they are too often they are not! We got several quotes and were leaning towards Leuri and RTP due to so many good reviews, then Leuri came to quote and I could tell he knew his stuff and cared more than the others that came, he was also very competitive with pricing so here we are happy customers! This was our most important contractor choice, our house was built by Mickey Mouse & Disney, our load-bearing wall was never even supported properly from the start, therefore our roof either! We also wanted a flush beam and some companies made that very undesirable due to pricing, and we almost had no option to do it because it is a 21 foot length total and the joists are only 2 x 8's. Leuri came up with a couple creative options and he and YCL Engineering talked it over to confirm it would meet code, see the attached pics for the result. Leuri also re-built the 2 small side walls for us, replaced some flooring to make it level and some other odd jobs. Leuri and his help were really great to work with; friendly, reliable, flexible, practical AND you get great high quality work. He's really a great guy too and you can tell he cares and takes great pride in his work, something you don't see often enough nowadays. Thanks guys for the great job, if the dam reno ever gets done they'll be smoked food waiting for you in the new giant kitchen at the house-warming!

Andre really was a breath of fresh air, in a very large pool of contractors who are either hard to get a hold of, unreliable, or come to estimate and then don't even send one! We have a very large complete house reno we are doing and with no "General" we have dealt with for sure over 100 companies already, Andre gets absolute top marks for us in all categories: Service, Pricing, Quality of work. He came when he said he would, actually sent a quote (crazy how many don't) when he said he would then also started work at agreed on time. We actually had to reschedule him due to unforeseen weather changes and he was very understanding, a great pleasure to work with and we would hire him again in a heartbeat. The work to be done was asbestos removal, we had him completely remove the popcorn AND drywall from a dining room ceiling, and the drywall/mud from several walls that were to be removed. He did everything he said he was going to do including all the necessary precautions etc and I was happy that they were thorough with that, and that they made sure to remove ALL of the material from said areas. Every other contractor we have actually hired fell short of doing a "great" or perfect job in some way, Andre from Air Doctors broke that "mold"... punn intended again! Finally a company that lives up to its many "10" reviews. Thank you Andre, all the best from us, we hope we don't need you in the future, but if we do, we know who to call :)

After all the glowing reviews (all "10" is VERY suspect which I knew), and 3 other ridiculous priced quotes I chose this company to do a simple Reno. Quote was done in timely fashion, follow up handled well etc. Then when job started workers were late both days, not a lot but 90 minutes both times but to make it worse on the 2nd day once they arrived they then left and went to Home Depot so gone for one more hour! So due to this, job was not finished on time, to their credit, they did come on weekend to finish and at least get it done. The much bigger complaint is with the quality of the work (see pics of work before I corrected, not best pics but you get the idea). These were not licensed people for sure just in case anyone else is expecting that, and English was only so so here (one guy had almost none). Anyway bottom line on quality is I had to redo much of the mudding and paint work as it was just shoddy and didn't look good. Examples are mud lumps in corners and around edges, 2 whole uneven seams showing (this I could not correct), edges are just not even close to straight, uneven colour on walls (yes after painting ceiling white they used same roller, which caused some of the blue walls to be lighter/darker in some areas! Some of this is not corrected either), and some other small things which just all added up. Then insult to injury a couple excessive charges were on the invoice, like full amount of fees included if 2 other jobs were also done at the same time (I decided not to do them, so it seemed obvious fees should have been adjusted accordingly), charged full amount for supplies bought that only a small portion were used or not used at all. Bottom line here I didn't expect a full blown professional job given they were a good bit lower than next company, but I also didn't expect to have to redo it myself for it to look good either, basically it looked like what I would have done if rushing (ie not totally awful but not great). I can't really recommend them to others here, if I really want another cheap job where I don't care about looks and price was low I "might" rehire them, but am likely not to.
