We had Robert replace our shingles about 16 years ago. I noticed that they were starting to deteriorate so I called him up. He said there was a class action on the shingles a couple of years ago, but I found out we were too late to claim. The single companies kept that one pretty quiet. Anyway, we needed them replaced and Robert pulled our file from 16 years ago and provided a quote for a better quality shingle with 50 year warranty, as only one he would recommend. His crew came on the hottest day of the year and completed removal and replacement in one day, with breaks every hour to cool down. In noticed one vent and one downspout not quite positioned correctly after they left and sent him an email about it. In a couple of days, I noticed that both items had been corrected. I would highly recommend Arcade Roofing for their timelyness and quality job. They left the property spotless too.

We visited the showroom to get a quote for a gas insert for our wood burning fireplace. Bill showed us the models and features and provided installed prices based on normal installation. After visiting a couple of other places, we settled on Cobblestonembers as their price was best, they had been doing this for a long time and knew what they were talking about. They came out to measure, check location of gas and electrics and confirmed the price. Two weeks later they came to install with a crew of 3, laid down mats to protect all our floors, vacuumed up afterword and showed us how the remote operated. They even discovered a loose connector in a light fixture that was arcing and corrected it. The insert looks great! Bill said that if we had any issue or trouble figuring out the remote to call and he would come by. A great experience all round.

After 17 years with my old paved driveway, it was time for new and unfortunately, the original company could not be found. I selected Ludwig based on reviews on this site after getting 3 quotes. They were second lowest. Everything went fine until just after the 1 year mark, their warranty period, when I noticed a couple of long cracks, not in areas where the car drives. When I called William said that the ground must have shifted ( why after the last paving lasted 17 years?), it was out of warranty, not covered, but he would come out to look at it and put a sealer on the cracks. He never did come, and I am getting more cracks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Excellent company. We had crack develop from poured foundation right up through brick facing. They explained what could be the cause beforehand, arrived on time, excavated and checked all possible causes, replaced weeping tile while there, repaired crack in foundation, ensured there was no undermining of footing before closing up, finished grade with top soil after and even added material to correct slope on the other side of house. On budget, no extra despite taking extra 2 days due to hard clay.

Aya kitchens recommended Stone Edge for the counters as they had worked with them. Aya got a quote for us on Quartz from them and we went to the showroom to select the colour. They were helpful in selecting colour to match our cabinet, floor. The order was placed and the templating was done as soon as the cabinets were in. The counter was ready in about a week for installation. I had difficulty getting a time for install from the co-ordinator who did not return calls, but finally the installation crew came. It is a good thing I was there watching, as the 2 young guys started shimming the counter, so it was not parallel to the cabinet on the exposed face, as the cabinet was not 100% level. I had them shim on the face against the wall instead, so it was not noticeable. One end piece enclosing the stove also had been measured incorrectly and they had installed it so it protruded past the counter edge on the other side of the stove. I had them remove it and cut it down to size. The finished product looks fantastic though, and the other elements of the install such as the undermount sink they supplied, the seams and the finish were excellent, and they were neat and clean.

We selected Aya after initial free design concept was done and cost estimated, as the cost was competitive with other quotes, but the ideas for space utilization were much better. Kathleen had some great ideas to make the layout more useful and modern. She also helped with the many decisions that come with a completely new kitchen, from layout, colours, countertops,floors to backsplash. The project was scheduled and co-ordinated with her help so we were only without a kitchen for 3 weeks. The installer was clean, neat, fast and had great workmanship. We had a minor issue with a blemish on a piece and it was replaced without any question. This was a great experience compared to others we have talked to, thanks in large part to Kathleen at Aya. Our 25 year old kitchen has been remade into a clean modern designer kitchen. Thanks.

From first entering the store, everyone was knowledgable and helpful. Peter can measured and sent a very detailed estimate with all the possible options listed to select from the next day. When we placed our order they worked their two teams (tiler and wood installers) around our schedule, were on time, clean, helpful and tried to minimize the disruption to us. The work was done professionally and fast. The crew certainly takes pride in their work and are perfectionists. Thanks again Peter and thank your crew. It made this major project a great experience.

We have used Peachtree for a number of prints that we had framed. In each case, they have selected matts and frames based on the print and area it is to go in, that were excellent choices. We keep going back so there must be something to their skills.

Over 2 years, we had all of our windows replaced by Fasada. Their price was competitive, they gave us good suggestions, they were clean, using many drop cloths, they did the work in one day each time and the quality was great.

A year after they did my roof, I was looking for eavestrough replacement and found that they had a guy that does it for them exclusively. He was great, even colouring the nail heads to match the eavestough. Arcade also insisting on running 2nd floor drains down to eavestrough to prevent washing away shingles.

The energy audit said I would get $760 to upgrade from R25 to R50. Bob Jarvis gave a quote after looking at outside only, and did the job in 1-1/2 hours with minimal mess. The auditor said it was a very good job, as he has seen many poor jobs.

The job was scheduled 1 week after order place and installation was done quickly, neatly and professional looking finish, with all the lines etc. neatly run and tied down. They even replaced the gold air duct into the furnace to ensure it was as large as the furnace inlet.
