As a first time homebuyer in Toronto, I ended up purchasing a home that needed some serious upgrades. I interviewed approximately 10 different contractors post-purchase, and Rolando (of Rovimat Group) stood head and shoulders above the rest. In the interview process, Rolando was able to clearly explain how the project would come to life, provide very detailed quotes, and also some great ideas & designs on the project. I have been through two phases of renovation on the house with them: the first was a complete rebuild of the basement & first floor of house. This included 2 new bathrooms, a new kitchen, new polished concrete floors, plumbing, electrical and structural work. Throughout this process the team at Rovimat provided great communication, stayed on time and budget (barring some minor unforeseen challenges, which I believe are very standard in a 100 yr old home), and did high quality work. The second phase of renovation (approx. 8 months following) was exterior work to upgrade a small extension on the house. This included roofing, siding, new windows, and minor structural repairs. Again, all done, on time, on budget, and with quality throughout. Both of my experiences with the Rovimat Group have been extremely positive, and I know that, if needed, they will be my contractor of choice for the future.

Just completed a 3 month project with the Rovimat team. This was our first home renovation experience, and Rolando and Victor made the experience painless. I cant say anything but great things! The project consistent of a full basement rebuild, from new floors, drains, walls, electrical, water lines, bathroom etc; along with a new kitchen, and bathroom on main floor. Everything came together very well and looks fantastic. We found a small surprise or two along the way (hard to really call it a surprise with a 90+ year old house...) but the team from Rovimat kept us on track. At the start of the project, I interviewed about 7 different contractors, through reco's from friends and also reviews on this site. I reached out to Rovimant based on the reviews here - and was immediately impressed when I met Rolando and Victor. They speak plainly, get things done right and on time, and are all round great to deal with. I would recommend them to family & friends, and plan to work with them on future projects.
