Jose and his team excellent! Local company that showed up at appointed times to meet and install new heating system. I chose him because he was innovative re no drain in furnace area and challenging venting required. His price the best considering work involved. He left basement spotless. I asked for wheel valve from old boiler and he remembered to remove it for me. I will be using Building Ideas for annual maintenance knowing that I will be dealing directly with the company owner.

Avoid this company, especially if you are a senior. Excessive charges compared with other plumbing companies. I was charged $872 for a tap and 2 shutoff valves installed in 1 hour. I later compared to several other local companies and got quotes of $315 with taxes. New Canadian Drain lumber Mark insisted a simple faucet would cost $520, then $450. Each shutoff value would cost $360. These parts can be bought at Canadian Tire for under $100. I wrote and complained but have not had any response.

100+ year old house - Basement needed updated lights and smoke/carbon detectors according to fire code. The Chung team removed old knob and tube and aluminum wiring and put in new wiring. Mr. Chung's team arrived as scheduled, completed the work quickly and pointed out items that should be repaired. Excellent work, friendly and polite to me as a home-owner.

Basement ceiling, stairwell and furnace separating wall needed complete coverage of fire-rated drywall. Dan and Ed did an excellent job. However, Dan told me that in order to obtain my invoice showing that I had paid in full I had to write a glowing review.

In April of 2016 I hired the team at Sigma Windows & Doors again to purchase and install on May 2 and 3rd - 5 fire rated doors. Stan and Mike always arrive on time, work efficiently, clean up while working and behave professionally and respectfully to me, a female homeowner. Some of the work was difficult but they did it with great results. They were also very calm and polite when dealing with difficult neighbours. I would highly recommend them. I will be using them again should the need arise.

Dec 2004. The installers FLOODED my house from 2nd flr to basement Christmas Eve. Denise spun a sob story about her car accident when I complained. Guy who did water heater tested it by opening spigot onto basement floor without putting a bucket underneath it. Comapny has the nerve to send me annual maintenance program!
