We purchased a home in the summer and decided we would finish the basement. We wanted a gym, bedroom, bathroom, and kids playroom. I interviewed a few contractors and found that René was the most receptive and helpful of them, and even helped to design the layout of the basement. We went through the contract and René was pretty open to the changes I made... We actually went through a few iterations, and finally came to an agreement. Actually René was really great about it and even did a few things over and above what we agreed on. Work started and the guys showed up pretty much every day on time and ready to go. The guys are great and trustworthy and we felt safe with them in our home... We really appreciated all the extra help they did for us, since we fired our bathroom contactor and rene and Juan picked up the work and finished tiling our upstairs bathrooms! All in all I was very pleased with their work and will hire them again for another project. The basement turned out great and we love our new gym. Thank you to Rene, Juan, and the rest of the crew!

We just got our new california shutters custom made and installed by Cadillac Custom Shutters. What a difference! I didnt realize what a huge change it would make in the appearance of our home! The house looks brand new. In the last month alone we have renovated our kitchen, 2 bathrooms, new hardwood, and our basement, but I think the biggest improvement is the custom shutters installed on all of our windows. The team at Cadillac Custom Shutters was excellent, from the initial home measurements which were done very quickly to the installation from Danny and Pedro. The guys did a great job and the house looks new! Thanks and I will recommend your service to friends and family.

I have used California Hardwood Flooring on 3 occasions. I purchased hardwood flooring and installed it myself. Andrew delivered the hardwood and brought it up the stairs and into my home. He gave me some useful tips which definitely helped! I used their services to refinish the ugly red coloured floors our first home came with and they custom stained them a special colour that they made for me. They made me some extra stain at no charge and I stained the railings and stairs with the same colour. My wife and I went away on vacation and we gave them access to our home, when we returned the hardwood was finished! Finally I have used them in my new home to install new hardwood in the upstairs of my new home. They installed all of the wood in 2 days (entire upstairs floor) and came back and did the quarter round in half a day. We are very happy and the floors have NO SQUEAKS! Ulla is always in the shop and very friendly! I would recommend California Hardwood Flooring and will use them again on our next flooring project!

I recently purchased a home in Oakville and am renovating 2 bathrooms (complete guttings) when the contractor I was using hired Mark and Rob from A. Mckenna Plumbing as his usual plumber was too busy. Mark and Rob showed up and roughed in a 4 valve, rain head, wand, and 3 jets in 2 bathrooms. The rough-in were professionally done, and Mark and his crew checked and re-checked that there was no leaks. I was impressed with the work and asked Mark to come back and install the chrome fittings for both showers (I fired the bathroom contractor but that is another story - never hire Rebath). Normally I would install fittings myself but these were pretty intricate and expensive parts and I wanted to make sure that it was done right (dont want any water leaking behind the walls!) The guys did a great job and I asked for them to come back again and rough in and install the P-traps and drains for the vanities. They were very quick and I had another vanity for our powder room that was sitting in my garage waiting to be installed.... I asked Rob if he had time and he removed the ugly pedestal, cut out the old drain P-trap, and put the new vanity and installed the faucet. I am also doing a basement reno and Mark went down and inspected the plumbing work and found that there was a crack in one of the stacks coming down from the kitchen sink... It seems that the old owners used draino causing a hairline crack to form... Mark showed me how damaged the stack was and he replaced it for me in minutes. I was very grateful as the walls were about to dry-walled in and that eventually would have been a disaster! Lastly, When the bathroom guys tiled my new bathrooms they were not careful around the drains... they allowed a lot of crap to go down and it eventually led to poop coming back up out of our shower! Mark and Rob came over immediately and snaked the drain and ensured that the clog was gone! The price of the work has always been fair, and they show up on time (something that I find contracts do not often do). The quality of the work is very high and the guys are genuine and honest workers. I will use them again.
