This company should be out of business. I know that sounds like strong words, but after my experience with them, I wish they were. I hired Aspen Clean to do a simple house cleaning, for one hour. The house was in somewhat rough condition as it hadn't been professionally cleaned in some time. However, I asked them specifically to do simple tasks, such as clean the kitchen floors, kitchen countertops, dust in the living room area, and vacuum the stairs. None of these tasks were completed. I was not around for the full hour of time they were there, but when I returned near the end, I found their workers (three very young women all of which clearly had very little experience) talking to each other saying things like "Ugh, I can't take this anymore", "Eww!!!" and making gagging noises. This is COMPLETELY unprofessional behaviour. They were lazy, and clearly had no real training or care about their job. Finally, when I called their manager to address these problems, he said he had to talk to them to review the job. He said that he would send a different team to come clean the areas they didn't (almost all areas in my opinion) free of charge. Upon calling me back, he said that they were unable to complete these tasks because of the condition of the house. He said that he would not be sending a new team, and that if we wanted to try to complain again, we would have to provide photo documentation of the areas that they didn't do to prove it. I am sorry, but essentially this manager is telling me that I'm being untruthful to him about their incompetency. I AM THE CUSTOMER. This is completely obscene customer service in my opinion. Please, whoever reads this review, never hire these people.

AspenClean provided service to Michael on August 5th 2014. The cleaning was initially scheduled for 1 hour with a team of 3, however the poor condition of the home, including bugs, resulted in a request for additional cleaning time which was refused by the client. AspenClean's policy is to only increase cleaning time with the clients permission and therefore the team left the home unfinished.

A free re-cleaning was offered for the areas that the team had covered in the 1 hour but the client requested we return to finish other areas of the home free of charge. These areas would have been cleaned by the team had additional time been approved. Based on the condition of the home and the lack of approved additional time we had to reject this request.

The team is very experienced and 2 members have been employed by AspenClean for over 1 year. The team followed all company policies in regards to extending the cleaning time and worked in less than pleasant conditions.
