After one of our many torrential storms, a very large branch (30 feet, multiple off-shoots, 5,000 plus lbs) came down in between my house and my neighbours. It was a tricky job as it was over multiple wires, our fence and up against the houses. I called the emergency number and within a day had a quote and in 2, the branch was down and gone! The crew was extremely professional and careful and even put mats down to protect our lawns

I have used Plumbers Direct before and have always been impressed with their service and quality of work. This time, I just returned home from a week-long vacation to discover that our pipes had frozen in the lovely -20C weather we've been having. I left a message for Plumbers Direct and Peter called me back within an hour. Although he wouldn't be able to get to my house for 3-4 days due to dozens of others with similar or worse issues, he still took the time to walk me through what I could do on my own to solve the problem. I followed his advice and about 4 hours later, the pipe thawed. I thought this was a great example of going above and beyond to help someone out.
