We hire John and his team after interviewing 6 basement renovation companies and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our choice. John stood out as an honest craftsman at a competitive rate, and we couldn’t be more pleased that he delivered on the vast scope of work, on time, on budget, and with quality material and workmanship. John was our go-to for everything, from design, to bringing us samples rather than us having to shop around at multiple suppliers during covid. He was onsite practically everyday, and was always responsive to any questions, or complexities that needed to be addressed. He was the master coordinator of all tradespple, and there wasn’t a single day during this project that our home was sitting idle. Everyone that came through our home was very respectful of our property which was much appreciated. The quality of the workmanship speaks for itself, and final outcome is incredible. We did a complete gut to our foundation, including new floors and subfloor, soundproof, as well as installing custom kitchenette, 2 custom office areas, gym and sauna area, bathroom, laundry room, new gas line and fireplace, wall in closets, back door and stairs. Without a doubt we would absolutely recommend John and his team to everyone in need to renovate their home, and we plan to use John for our next reno project.

Recently my parents bought 2 couches and a coffee table from Arrow Furniture. Their sales representative, Sonal (Mississauga location on Dundas) was very knowledgeable and professional and at the same time very friendly and accommodating. It was a real pleasure doing business with her. The delivery was also on time and done by two very skillful men. Their only "grievance" was with the Decor-Rest manufacturer, who promised fabric samples attached to the couhces which were not provided (negligence by their inspectors). But here too, Sonal came to the rescue. Thank you Sonal for your excellent customer service.

After meeting with several other contractors, deciding to hire Sal was a no-brainer in order to reface our front steps, create a new interlock pathway, and to re-grade the perimeter of our property. We couldn't be happier with our decision and with the results that he delivered. What struck us most about Sal, was his passion for the job, his honesty, his design ideas and knowledge of the material. He clearly set the expectations on what can be done and when he was available to deliver, recognizing that 2020 was an exceptionally busy summer with known supply shortages. Yet he was able to deliver exactly what he promised, when he promised, and at the caliber he promised, finishing all components of the job before leaving the site. Working with him from a customer's standpoint was a dream come true. He also provided us with great ideas how to landscape our front yard next spring, writing down the common and botanical names of the plants we should purchase. We've since received several compliments from our neighbours and without a doubt will call him back to do your backyard. We met Paul a year and a half ago through the company we hired to complete our kitchen and bathroom renovations. Once we saw the meticulous, quality work Paul delivered for those jobs, we subsequently hired Paul to complete a whole plethora of needed plumbing on our aging house, including, replacing the sewage pipe, installing a backwater valve, sump pump, waterproofing the side of our house and installing a drainage system. For the later two jobs, given the magnitude of the work, we even got quotes from other companies, however they were surpassed by Paul both in the scope of what was to be included as well as the cost (unbeknownst to Paul which again demonstrated his honesty and integrity). For each job completed, Paul and his team showed outmost respect for our property and family which was much appreciated. My husband and I appreciated the thorough explanations Paul provided in the work that was to be completed, as well as the options we had to consider. He even went over and beyond and spoke with our neighbours advising them of the scheduled work and putting them at ease in the most professional and respectful manner. He was also helpful in finding ways for us to take advantage of rebates we could obtain from the city for the work completed. It goes without saying that each job was completed on time and on budget. As new homeowners Paul also provided a plethora of considerations and planned approaches for us to tackle in the coming years which is much appreciated. And finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention on a personal note what a wonderful individual Paul is. I will never forget the morning when Paul and his team came to complete the sump pump installation to find me with my back thrown out. He not only found a doctor that would see me on a Saturday morning, but he drove me to the appointment so that my husband could stay home with the kids. He is not only an exceptional, honest professional, but a wonderful human being.

We hired Kitchenland to complete the renovation of our kitchen, family bathroom and install new hardwood floors, and boy did they deliver!! Given their popularity, we needed to book them several months in advance. As a result, we were anticipating project overruns in terms of both timing and cost, however that did not happen at all. The project started on the exact date that was committed, and was completed on time and on budget. Alex did a phenomenal job with the design of both the kitchen and the bathroom, provided sound advice on the finishes, and we continue to get compliments from everyone visiting our home. Gregory is the master craftsman and him and his team were meticulous in the execution of the work. Gregory was very thoughtful in his recommendations on the type of material and work that was required, at times swaying us to stay away from costlier options by highlighting the cost/benefit of engaging in such work. We really appreciated their honesty and the integrity placed behind their work. There are a couple of things in particular that stand out in our experience with Kitchenland that are worth highlighting. Even months after the renovations were completed, Gregory called to check in to see how we were enjoying the renovations. He remembered that we were interested in a couple of upgrades elsewhere in the house (unrelated to the scope of work by Kitchenland) and advised us of a promotion for us to take advantage of. He truly treated us as if we were family. Also, during the renovation, my husband who never painted before was attempting to paint one of the bedrooms. When Gregory saw this, right away, not only did he show my husband the proper technique, but he also loaned one of his professional brushes to help get the job done properly. Overall an absolute dream experience. Whoever said renovations were a nightmare clearly didn't hire Kitchenland to do the job!

Mike and Thomas were absolutely wonderful. I explained how I have been having allergies since I moved in and they did such a combative job in cleaning our ducts. They explained the duct cleaning process in detail to me and even showed me how to replace the furnace and humidifier pad and when to also. Great helpful advice and very knowledge guys. Terrific company.
