Based on good reviews I hired Twintech to look at a small leak on my 5yr old water heater, they sent an employee to inspect and give a quote to repair which would total about $300. 100 for the initial call/inspection and another $200 for the repair. I agreed to the repair and they showed up on the agreed date to do the repair, it was to replace a dip tube but after removing the old one he couldn’t get the new one in. After about half an hour of trying he realized he had gotten the wrong part which he blamed his supplier for. Then told me it would be about a week to get this custom order part and would mean I would have no hot water for a week, so I went from a small insignificant leak to no water heater. I can’t believe that an experienced professional didn’t know these had custom order parts and basically left with my water heater disassembled and leaking water all over my basement. I would never hire this company for any projects ever again. I ended up having to buy a new water heater and didn’t even receive an apology from the company for their incompetence.

Tony from For Saving contacted me right after posing the Job on Home stars and set an appointment to come see the house as he said in order to give a proper quote he would need to see the property (all other responders gave an over the phone quotes) He was on time and gave me a detailed quote and answered all my questions, I decided to use them for the job, they were on time and did a great job, everything that we agreed to was done. So far we are very happy and would highly recommend them.

Found them on HomeStars and arranged for a Hot Water heater to be installed. They arrived an hour early but luckily someone was home so when I arrived I spoke the Gentlemen doing the install 1 was his first day on the job so I told the senior employee to keep an eye on him as it looked like he was doing most of the work. Anyway when the job was finished and they left I was cleaning up as they left a bit of a mess, not too bad but I was a little upset that they dumped a a bunch of solder pieces in our sink and on our front porch they scuffed up the concrete where the old water heater was placed while being removed. As far as the workmanship went I noticed that the line in to the tank was not at a 90 degree angle, it looks like they cut 1 piece too small and instead of cutting it the correct size they just forced it into place now there is no leak so I guess everything is ok but I called the Comfort Shoppe and was told to send him some pictures which I did and after 2 weeks passed I called again, they apologized and told me they would take a look and get back to me which they never did. Al and all they were polite when speaking with me and like I said everything seems to be working.

FInley roofing was recommended to me by a neighbor / friend who was familiar with this company .so the roof was done in 2012 around june . at the time everything seemed ok although they didn't do a very good cleanup ( nails all over and debris in the neighbors yards) but i didnt stress over it. now this year we noticed staining on the siding at the back of the house wher the valley is when i couldn't get Finley roofing to come and look at it or even answer my calls i went to the attic to look and noticed a rotted board where the vent for the washroom is, they're contract stated they would replace 2 rotted boards at no cost . so i hired Another ROOFING company to do an inspection, he said it was a very unprofessional job the vent had no collar and the board should have been replaced also there was no caulking done anywhere it was needed and the valley was no good and must be replaced . Now it's going to cost me another bundle of money to rip up the roof and make the repairs. Update: Finley roofing contacted me and the repairs deemed necessary were done.

Had Trevor diagnose a Fridge cooling issue and was charged $60 he told me it was a circuit board issue and he ordered the part ($175), the next day the fridge was working fine so I cancelled the part which Trevor was very understanding .a week later problem returned and Trevor re-ordered the part and did the repair and did not fully charge me for the labor based on his initial assessment charge. A good guy and no problems with the Fridge since.
