We had our roof replaced by a different roofing company about 15 years ago and although the high quality shingles we selected at that time were still in excellent condition the poor quality installation of those shingles and the inadequate ventilation of our roof meant we had to strip them off and start all over again. Gordon and his team ensured that our roof was properly prepared, that the existing metal work was stripped and meticulously replaced and perhaps most importantly that our roof was (finally) properly ventilated. The installation of our new roof happened during a very rainy time this spring and Gordon and his crew ensured that our roof was well protected at all times, even during torrential downpours. Not a single leak. Gordon is extremely knowledgeable and was committed to solving our roofing problems. We are grateful to him and his team for their work on our roof. They did an amazing job!

Our 5 year old fridge was not keeping things cold enough, and the freezer was working overtime. Atiar came within an hour of my call, and repaired the fridge for a reasonable price. He also guaranteed the work. He was knowledgeable and courteous and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks, Atiar!

We had some shingles blow off during very high winds this past fall. Jean was able to dispatch Ilir and his crew to our house within an hour of my call (despite it being a very busy day) and they immediately made a temporary repair that has lasted throughout this winter. Ilir showed me pictures of the damage before they made the repair, explained why the shingles had blown off (improper installation by another company) and checked for and nailed down other loose shingles while they were on the roof. I am very grateful for their fast, knowledgeable, professional and courteous service.

Paul is so conscientoius and reliable and knows so much! I have had problems with my dryer and he figured out that the lint hadbeen accumulating in the heating element.(not in the duct) and he was able to remove the back of my dryer and get the lint out. and prevent a fire. He really goes that extra mile to help you and providesexcellent,service.

We have had Gem Windows & Doors replace all the windows in our older home in three stages. We started in 2001 with the front of the house and replaced all the remaining windows in 2009 and 2010. We have been very happy with the quality of the windows and the installation. They are good quality windows and the installation was very professional. We have not had any problems. There was one small mix up with the colour of the exterior trim on the basement windows not matching the other windows but Gem took full responsibility, re-assured me that it would be fixed and followed through in a timely manner. They provided excellent customer service. We have been very happy with our windows from Gem, have enjoyed doing business with this company and would recommend them highly.

Adam came when he said he would did a great job (on a very tricky old toilet and sink) and charged a very fair price. He provided excellent, reliable, fast service and we were very happy with the job. He is a great plumber and I would recommend him highly.
