Sounds like a familiar story. Everything starts off very professional and organized until the contract was signed. Then the 'service delivery' issues start. Moving materials delivered late and only after several panicky phone calls, not being able to contact people in the office during business hours, not getting callbacks when they say they will, etc. Our furniture was going into storage at their warehouse for a year and 4 days before the move we were told they didn't have room and we'd have to make other arrangements. This after committing in our contract to store our contents and committing to a price. The actual movers were very good but they weren't Moveworks employees and trucks- rather, they were Top Movers. On the day of our move, we're arranging for storage space that we were told we needed which turned out to be less than what was required which resulted in additional expense.
The whole move left us angry, stressed and feeling completely let down.
