Blackbird roofing installed new roof Oct 2013, initially all looked good, but this winter we noticed a wet ceiling in the TV room close to fire place -related to melting snow on the roof. Another big leaking from the ceiling in April 2014 after heavy rain -called Blackbird Co. they came back 3 days later and said -they fixed caulking around the chimney. Had another major leaking after heavy rain in May -by now the ceiling has lot of water damage. Called Blackbird to come back -they said someone will come -but nobody showed up. We had to hire someone else to fix it -to use roofing cement under shingles around chimney flushing as it was not done by the roofers. Cannot recommend this Company.

The leak issues that Hana had were a result of a leaking chimney. This had nothing to do with the roof, shingles or workmanship given by our company. You would think that a company making money off of providing consumers with reviews would ensure that the complaints had any truth or credibility. It seems Home Stars is more interested in making money than ensuring a fair and truthful consumer/provider relationship.wow so fake!! Customer family of our competitor!!
