This was an easy 10. James and his team were very careful and quick at moving my upright piano from one house to another If you're looking to move your piano I would easily recommend them.

We needed an entire section of our current wood fence replaced (approx 50 ft). Our existing fence was rotting and leaning into our neighbours yard. It was pretty obvious that it wouldn't take a strong storm to blow the entire fence down. The added difficulty with our existing fence was that our yard was about 12 to 16 inches higher than our neighbours yard and part of the reason the fence was leaning was because it was not built properly. When I talked with Ron about our project there was definitely a level of comfort there that this was someone that had years of experience building fences and knew what he was talking about. I liked the fact that he not only took the time to come out and see the problem but also educated me on the proper way the fence needed to be built. He provided me with an explanation of what the proper code was and gave me a detailed description on how he was going to build the fence. Ron and his team did a fantastic job building us a new fence. See the old vs new attached pictures. They worked long and hard, it definitely looked like backbreaking work, and kept the area clean. They spent a great deal of time making sure that the new fence was built on a strong and level foundation and made sure that the posts were deep enough and set properly to support the fence. To address the height difference between the two yards a retaining wall was placed between the posts and it not only looks good but now our yard is properly supported as well. I had a good experience hiring Ron and his team and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have a fence built; either new or replaced.

Would I recommend Downtown Roofing Repairs? 100% I would and I already have to my neighbors. I would also have no hesitation in hiring them again. I hired Joe, Aaron and their team to replace the shingles on my roof which were old and falling apart and they did a fantastic job. They're a few reasons why I decided to go with Downtown Roofing Repairs and why I gave a rating of 10. First, if I start with the estimation process. Of all the companies I contacted and received estimates from Joe was the only person who actually went on the roof to evaluate its condition before providing me with an estimate. This was something that I appreciated and I'm glad he did because it turned out that we had 3 layers of shingles on the roof. All of the other quotes I received did not have this built into their estimates because no one took the step to look. Second, Aaron and his crew did a fantastic job. The job only took 2 days to complete. Aaron and his team member Brian were great in communicating what work was completed or still required. The crew was quick and efficient and left us with a new roof that looks fantastic. Lastly, when the work was completed for the day and for the project overall, the guys took every effort to make sure the area was cleaned and free of debris before heading home: considering how many layers of shingles there were on the roof that probably wasn't the easiest thing to do. A lot of the times this step is an afterthought but with kids and pets around having an area free of roofing nails provided an extra level of comfort. It also showed the level of respect the guys had for the surroundings and for the quality of their work.

Pictures speak a thousand words and now the house looks great. We're very happy with the completed work and with our decision to hire Shaun and his team at Home Doctor. We hired Shaun and his team to replace the existing cladding on our home extension and completely replace it with siding. Our existing cladding was this old white particle board designed to look like stucco which was installed by the previous owners. It was rotting in many different places and I had replaced pieces of it over time. But it was getting to the point that there was too much rot, it was ugly, and no longer worth keeping around. I had contacted 6 different contractors and only 3 replied. One contractor came and said he was going to quote the job and then disappeared. I hired Shaun because he was very detailed in his explanation of what my options were to replace the existing cladding and took the time to respond to every one of my questions. At no point did I feel like I was being offered more of a solution than what the situation called for. He wasn't the cheapest quote, which I was not looking for, but was still very competitive. When Shaun's team came to do the work they did a great job. The attention to detail was quite high and the work site was kept clean, a fact my family and neighbors appreciated. The guys worked very hard and considering that with a slimmed down crew the project was completed in a week speaks to their skill set; this was not a small job. As I stated earlier we are thrilled with the results and would easily recommend Shaun and his team to anyone.

The only reason for the 9 was because of some email tag during the initial sales process. I'd prefer a call response vs an email response. But my sales rep was great to deal with. Aside from the email tag, my experience with Casa Bella was a 10. The total cost was fair and the install was perfect: 5/5. Manny and Al did a great job. The doors look great and function perfectly. I would defintely use and recommend Casa Bella Windows again.

This was not a simple AC condenser unit change. This was the removal of a useless ductless ac system and the installation of a completely new attic based AC system, ducts and all, in an older detached 2 story Toronto style home. We've been in our home for 5 years and settling for what cooling we had with the ductless unit. After having our 2nd child we decided we had enough. We needed to properly cool our home and I got sick of buying fans. Knowing what we wanted would not be cheap we called on multiple HVAC companies. In the end we decided to go with Belyea bros; and are glad that we did. From Steve Gilmore, our sales consultant, to Roman and his crew they were on time, informative, experienced, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. We felt comfortable throughout the entire process and at no time felt like we were being taken. Roman and his crew came in and did a fantastic job, they were clean, fast but detailed, and the system works great and cosmetically everything looks very good. They were also very clean with their work. Overall we were extremely pleased with the work and would easily use them again - and will. I have no issue at all recommending them; especially with older Toronto style homes.

First, I would have no issue recommending or using the Roof Whisperer again. We've had nothing but a positive experience with all of the people from the company. After calling a few contractors I chose Arthur not because he was the lowest cost provider, he wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, We were looking for a roofing contractor because we noticed a leak coming inside the house. Arthur came and performed a detailed assessment as well as provided me with a detailed quote. I chose Arthur and his company because he took the time to explain everything to me and provide me with a detailed plan on what needed to be done. He was detailed in his assessment and answered all of my questions. References were there if needed, but I did not reach out. Arthur gained my trust and at no time did I feel like I was being sold a bill of goods. Arthur's team was also great to deal with. Wayne was very helpful as were the other guys on the team. They were very respectful and worked very hard to get the job finished; and finished right. The work they did was great and we are happy with the results.

Overall the job and dealing with the company was very smooth. Lisa was very friendly and called ahead of time to let us know that Michael and his co-worker Greg would be arriving shortly. She also called soon after the work was completed to make sure it was done properly; the post sale call was a surprise and I thought was fantastic. The work done to repair the faucet was done quickly and very well. We had a leaky faucet in the laundry room and Michael and co came in, quickly replaced the faucet and also showed me where the leak was coming from. They also took the old faucet and will dispose of it in a recycle program. The job was explained in detail and they cleaned the area after the job was finished. I was very happy with the work they did and would use them again. I think the price was also competitive. It may be a few percentage points higher than some others but I was happy to pay it if it meant quality. Allen from Toronto

Christian and his team did a great job installing a natural gas BBQ line. His initial consultation was detailed and to the point. A quality I respect. The line was installed without a problem and they even managed to remove a hornets nest to get the job done. I would not have an issue recommending or using GTA Heating again.
