His Hers provided a prompt quote to remove a very tall and very dead ash, which was better than 2 others. With their great reviews, we scheduled the job for a convenient time 2 months away. Now the tree is gone, I'm happy to report they did a great job and cleaned up very thoroughly. It was a pleasure to do business with this dynamic couple.

A service visit for regular maintenance revealed a heat exchanger problem in our furnace, with a quote of $1600 for a replacement from the long-time service company. We decided to look at a replacement instead and called For Saving. They turned out to be well-named: we had an attractive quote for a new unit within a few hours, agreed, and had a new system by noon the following day. For Saving's price was 40% below the price of our local dealer, for a better system. Installation was quick, clean and professional. This outfit is wonderful!

I had an issue this spring restarting the system that Green Valley installed in the fall of 2017. (The installation was well done, and this was the first problem I had -- a minor one, as it turned out.) They came within a very short time, fixed the problem quickly, charged me nothing, and we had time for a nice chat. Couldn't be better!

Daimon's crew rebuilt a stone retaining wall that was 50' long and up to 4' high. The 10-yr old original was bulging out and in danger of collapse. While other contractors seemed stumped about how to fix it, Ashlar dismantled the old wall with a minimum of damage to the garden behind it, rebuilt it with a proper step-back and drainage, and managed to re-use the old materials. The wall has been through one winter and looks ready for many more. They also partially rebuilt the front step to the house. For this and the wall, I appreciated their willingness to reuse existing materials and design; there was no pressure to rip everything out and start from scratch.

Dave's crew were on time, polite, thorough, and efficient -- everything that the other reviews promise. Unlike a lot of home services, Dave's does not try to upsell with unwanted extras and even would have allowed us to opt out of the arranged cleaning after seeing the pictures. We went ahead and the results were evident from the second set of pix. Glad they now service Oakville.
