This is the second time I've used Mike from THT and the service is outstanding. Mike gives you the no nonsense explanation on how to do an installation and works with your budget (and tries to save for you in ways you didn't even anticipate). In our most recent installation not only did Mike complete the work on time and under budget, but he also fixed a problem with two other TVs (free of charge), and then helped fill cracks in the external wall to our house which he noticed walking to the front door. I have recommended Mike to many friends and they have been equally happy. There is no one else I will call for TV/Stereo help in the future.

Mike was exactly what I needed. We moved to a new home which was fully wired but needed speakers, receivers, wires, a TV mounted, etc. Mike was responsive, and his team showed up on time. He was creative, understood my budget, and worked within it by, among other things, incorporating some pieces I already had (including a couple of speakers and an old remote). Mike does not oversell and tells it like it is. I can't tell you how refreshing this was. Mike also did some carpentry work with our built-in cabinet to install speakers in behind, and it looks fantastic. I would recommend Mike to anyone looking to install a tailored high end or mid-range home theatre with the comfort that you are getting the proper advice and not being over sold.

Brent was very professional, prompt, and efficient. He went over every square foot of the house we had a conditional offer on, and gave us comfort that any issues were identified. He provided a comprehensive report, with photographs, clearly identifying anything we would want to know. He sat and answered all of our questions, was not rushed, and invited us to contact him any time to discuss further. Overall we were very impressed and would use him again.

Gord Bailey and his crew fixed a moisture problem in our attic caused by poor ventilation. His crew was fast, clean and professional and I was very pleased and impressed. The work involved the removal and replacement of insulation, as well as the opening of existing vents and installation of new ones. The work was performed all in a day or two, working long hours. The work was performed in 2007 and we've had no issues since. The house now holds the heat a lot better than it used to. I recommend Academia Roofing.

We went with Cipollone & Sons because of their good homestars review, quoted price, and because they quickly responded to tarp our roof when it suddenly began to leak. Everything went down hill from there. The customer service we received was shockingly poor. Their salesman made representations about what was included in the price (inspection for damage in our attic / interior repairs) but the company then refused to carry out that work or even let us speak to the salesman again. Nor would they reduce the price even though we were told the price included these additional items which were never completed. They argued that the interior repairs were not specifically added to the contract, and that they weren't qualified to carry out an attic inspection (even though that was in their contract). They did not finish the roof in one day as we were assured, but promised to return the following day. We did not hear from them again for over two weeks. Absolutely brutal. Difficult questions went unanswered for weeks, and then they would pretend that I'd never asked the questions in the first place. If you go with this company, you might want to record your conversations.
