Needed removal of three spruce trees (one large, two small) and a mature ash tree. Friendly arborist Ed came out and provided a detailed estimate that was very reasonable. Sixteen days later, the OVTE team were in and out in 3 hours with the stumps ground and no mess. The size of the backyard and hours of sunlight grew immensely thanks to their efforts. With an enclosed backyard, they were able to lift all tree and stump grinder over a 10' cedar hedge with ease from the side of the property. Boom truck has a 90' reach. Fascinating to watch the massive crane effortlessly lift the trees. Wood chipper is 300hp, the most powerful I have seen. Will likely be hiring this company to install fruit trees in the spring. The crane operator was also an arborist who offered useful tips concerning the younger trees on the property. *Note that the typical wait time can be 2-3 weeks+ in the summer. Patience pays off.

Polite, respectful, hardworking crew of five strong guys. Very efficient team. This is a pleasant family-run business where everyone has solid product knowledge. No fly-by-nighters here. The crew dug trenches, installed 50+ cedars and added a top-grade soil in 75 minutes. Swept the road, no mess. They treated the job like it was on their own property, and offered suggestions to extend the life of the existing hedges. Quality of the cedars was excellent. Installation prices very fair. *Note that they are busy throughout the summer, so you may have to wait a few weeks for the job to get done. But once they arrive, prepare to be impressed.

Very pleased with Stewart Roofing, who replaced my residential roof in April 2014. Office manager Bonnie was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process and very efficient. Kieran (son of owner) provided a detailed estimate and thoroughly explained all options last fall. I appreciated his clear and straightforward manner. Owner Stan ensured the work was done right and on time. Foreman Al spearheaded a respectful, hard-working crew of 7-8 guys who never stopped until the job was done. Arrived at 12:30pm and completed the job by 6:15pm. Their pressurized guns are far quieter than hammers. The TruDef shingles look fabulous! Note: Also added new 4x8 boards on the upper roof (old 4x8s were 30 years old). A wise investment to have a solid new roof under the quality TruDef shingles with a 50-year warranty. In an industry known for seedy workers with aberrant lifestyles, Stewart Roofing provide a model of excellence for the industry to emulate. Highly recommended!

In a residential property with three sides of cedars (neighbor fencing on the other side of two), we have been using Francis for 14 years. We took them on when they moved from southern Ontario with two young boys and earned their customer base through door-to-door sales. In recent years, the two brothers appear to do all the physical work, and are in and out in 45 minutes. Overall, their work is very good and we are happy to support a small family business. Cleanup remains a rush job, I usually end up with close to a garbage can full of uncollected cedar, but expected.
