Initially I got 3 quotes including one from Open Sesame. They all came within plus minus $20 of each other but Open Sesame offered a much better garage opener plus after reading so many good reviews, I decided to give the job to Steve (owner). Just like many customers have written, Steve is indeed very meticulous in his work and took the time to explain the additional features he added to the door to make it lasts. There is no mess after he and his partner finished the work. Best of all, he has a great sense of humour. I would strongly recommend Open Sesame to any one who's looking to replace the garage door.

We are very happy with the work that Mark and his assistant Ray did last year that we have them back to do the front walkway this year. The step is the most difficult part of the job and Mark was able to come up with a number of suggestions. Ultimately, we selected the method and material that met our requirement and budget. Now, the curve lines and the stone step made our walkway a delightful view.

The first time I met Mark, I find him different from the rest of the contractors who came to provide me an estimate. He cares about what I want to do and suggested what's appropriate and what's not. Even though my back yard is very small, he's able to come up with ideas that set it apart from the rest of the contractors. During the course of work, he's willing to make changes to accommodate my requirement and explained any question I have to my satisfaction. My wife and I are very pleased with the finished product and we certainly would recommend Mark to our relatives and friends.

Bought a king size bed in June and was delivered on time. However, when sleep on it, the center is higher than the edges. It took us several weeks to determine the problem is in the bed after we eliminated the other possibilities. In the process, found a screw missing when the delivery guys set-up the bed. Went back to the store and spoke to the manager (Kevin). He wrote everything down and told us the service department would call in the next 2 days but they did not. So, I called them. The lady then said I should have reported the problem within 3 days after receiving it. I told her I am not trying to return or exchange the product but there is a defect in the construction which should be under warranty. In the end, she said she has to talk to her manager and call me back. Did not hear from her again. Such poor customer service and questionable quality furniture is not a place where I will shop again nor would I recommend this store to anyone.

Called Avenue Insulation for an estimate but instead they referred me to Tropical Insulation since this is what they specialize in. Howard came to measure the size of the house and checked the attic to determine how much insulation will be required. The impression he gave me is honesty and trustworthy. Then Alfredo and his partner came to do the work. They are polite and very experience in what they do. Later on they even asked me to go up and checked their work. Overall, I find Tropical Insulation to be a very good company in what they do and would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for this kind of service.

After reading a previous review about Mark doing a good job installing an exhaust fan in the washroom, I decided to call Handyman since I have the same need. Mark came and planned out the best way to connect the vent hose to the outside. Then on installation day, we went to the hardware store to purchase everything that we need including renting a drill to bore a hole through the brick wall. Mark is thorough and meticulous in his work. The final result turns out very well. I would definitely recommend Handyman to all my friends.

Boris is very professional. He took measurement of the existing furnace and gave me a written estimate. Then he explained the different types of rebates I am entitled to and how to claim them. On the day of replacing the furnace, he sent Rasul and his partner. They did a good job with minimum mess. Overall, I am pleased with their work and would recommend Cozy World to all my friends.

John would lay out the position of all the lights first so that you can visualize how it will look like when everything is done. Then, he and Mohammad spent 1.5-2 hours installing 10 lights. No mess at all after they completed the work. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.
