Our family of four moved for the first time in 21 years. After starting to pack with cardboard boxes, I quickly decided I wanted something better and easier. I decided to try CityBoxes based on reviews and I am so glad I did. Andrew was amazing. The boxes were delivered quickly with dollies that are customized for the shape of the boxes rather than just flat. They were immaculately clean, didn’t require assembly and were extremely sturdy. Andrew provided labels too. We didn’t listen to his recommendation regarding quantity and had to order more later. The professional movers we used were very happy with the boxes too. After our move, the boxes were picked up quickly. The boxes are so sturdy, it is easy to overpack them — listen to Andrew’s advice about how to pack!

I have used LawnSavers for several years and my grass looks terrific. I appreciate the advance calls that a treatment is upcoming and the comments about any conditions they find when they are on site. They do not oversell and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I had a 3 year old skylight that was leaking (from another contractor who had retired). Extraordinarily fast response and quote from this company. For a modest increase in the quote, I got a brand new Velux skylight with a 10 year warranty. The installation took place much faster than predicted and the skylight is water-tight even with torrential downpours. Phone calls and emails are answered too. Would highly recommend if someone wanted Velux products...

My regular dryer vent cleaning was overdue and I found Dryer Vent Wizard on this site. The person who answered the phone was very pleasant and efficient. Tyler called 30 minutes in advance of arriving at the house as requested. He was pleasant, professional and clean and provided a written estimate of the work to be done along with photos and a read-out of the airflow of the 'before' state of the vent. After the work was done, the laundry room was left perfectly clean and I was shown the 'after' photos and read-out showing the improvement. Tyler was a pleasure to deal with and provided service which was far superior to another company I have used to do the same work. I highly recommend this company!

I was looking for an alternative for the unsightly 18 year old intercom room stations in my house. I sent several enquiries to other companies and no one had any advice but patching the walls which was not an option in a wood-panelled office. I came across Smart Homes and Robert responded quickly and suggested an iPort mount. He installed it perfectly and without any damage to the wall. The house has been instantly updated and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.

I had a four camera surveillance system installed less than a year ago at my home by a company that disappeared. I needed to have repairs done to the existing system and wanted to upgrade a camera. Skywire did a superb job in a very difficult situation. They understood the problems left behind by the first company and repaired the existing system and found the perfect upgrade camera for a very challenging lighting situation. They also installed a hidden interior camera without any problems whatsoever. They were neat, helpful and never failed to provide a full explanation of the options available. I have already recommended Skywire to members of my family who also want to install cameras.

I was having a problem with a raccoon using my second floor balcony as a latrine. I called AAA Gates and Brad came to assess the situation exactly when promised. We discussed possible solutions and their merits (or lack of). It was decided to try and make the adjacent arbour less raccoon friendly so that it would be very difficult for the raccoons to get up onto the balcony. The installation took place exactly when promised and was very neatly done. They even returned at my request to relocate some of the equipment. Since the installation was completed, the raccoons have found another place to do their business and we can now enjoy our balcony without a disgusting mess. AAA Gates was professional and delivered a solution that worked at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!

I have waited a very long time to renovate my master bedroom closet and I wanted it to be perfect. I first went to a custom cabinetry company and didn't proceed with them due to terrible customer service. I then went to Komandor as I was looking for an 'upscale' closet company. I faxed their sales rep, Gabriel, a floor plan. He produced a workable draft and we then met in their rather basic showroom. The plan underwent several revisions and Gabriel was patient, understanding of what I was trying to achieve, and able to offer many great suggestions. The use of a 3D software program allowed me to visually 'step' into the room before I proceeded with the work. It was extremely helpful to be able to see the cabinetry this way. The manufacturing time was shorter than anticipated too. The installation took two weeks as Komandor builds the closets on site rather than bringing in pre-made boxes. The workers were neat, polite and produced great work. The result is a very high quality, custom-built room. The closet is now like a filing cabinet for clothes with a place for everything and we are thrilled with the results. Any requested adjustments were made promptly and without complaint. I have no doubt that I could have found a cheaper company but I am equally sure that the quality would not have approached what we got from Komandor. For an important closet, this is a great company.

This is the fourth time we've painted the exterior of our home and the first time we've used Finer Edge. Their prep work was unbelievable and far, far better than any other painters we've ever experienced. They took their time and scraped, sanded, removed hardware (peep holes, weather stripping)and primed before painting. I am only sorry we haven't used them before as our woodwork would now be in much better condition than it is. They are very professional and started and finished on time. I highly recommend this company! UPDATE: I have had Finer Edge back to do two interior jobs since the first time I used them and they have not disappointed me. They are consistently top notch and I would not hesitate to use or recommend them again.
