I contacted Mayfair Drapery to come to my house to discuss drapery for my living/dining room. Mark arrived with samples and it was clear he had been doing this a long time. We decided on the material and style right then. About three weeks later an installer was back with our custom drapes. We are very happy with the service and the finished product.

I had the springs on two dishwashers break. The first company I contacted came out and wanted to glue some part back together because they said the part needed was discontinued. I had to pay them to leave. Adriano came with the correct part (updated version) and changed them all out. Where he really shone was one of the dishwashers was installed so tightly it was very difficult to remove without damaging the floor. Adriano tried many things and eventually was successful. I really appreciated that he did not give up and got the job done. This actually happened in 2016 and I meant to write the review then. I lost his contact info and could not remember who had helped me. Today while cleaning a stack of papers I found the receipt. I am saving his info because Adriano is who I would call for any appliance need in the future.

For years I have wanted to replace our lawn that was more weeds than grass. This spring I began contacting companies to discuss our job. Jerome came out as the third company I met with. The product they use was top notch and amazingly their price was very competitive. I actually read reviews here that were all positive and we went ahead with a deposit. In addition to the artificial turf we were going to complete a new larger deck, retaining wall and interlock. These projects were delayed multiple times and ended up being about a 2 months late. This is where I really have to compliment design turf - they were so accomodating in my need to keep pushing out installation date. When we finally were ready they came and did a great job. We are thrilled with our lawn and small putting green we added at the last minute. Everything turned out beautifully and I would recommend them to anyone. Pre sale, post sale and installation teams were fantastic to deal with.

Short version: Grinder used shot sharp twisty pieces of steel all over my yard. Two stuck in someone's foot which is how we found them. Very deep penetration. I would never have allowed cleaning in the backyard knowing this. NO response from company to my concerns. DANGEROUS!! We found around 15 on a trampoline and walkway where we could see them. How many are hidden in the grass? PS the trampoline is at least 15 feet from the BBQ cleaning site so these were flying through the air. You don't want these guys and their garbage grinder brushes making your lawn unsafe. See the picture, this is only a sample of the amount found, and again how many are hidden in the grass. Full story: Made a booking, takes several weeks for them to come out. They did come on the day specified and within the time frame given the day before in an email reminder. One person came and was contentious moving his materials into the backyard, he moved a mat to not drag his cart over it. Nice. We had several kids in the backyard playing on a trampoline and playground. The man began working and eventually fired up a grinder. Here is where the story becomes scary. I had to go out before he finished. When I came back I was excited to see the BBQ. It looked great on first glimpse. Closer inspection of the grills and I was a bit disappointed. It was obviously much cleaner than how it started but there was black oily residue that could be wiped off the grills by finger. So in general the cleaning job was okay, but my satisfaction is extremely low because of what we found out by accident. We had a guest over that evening and as they walked outside on some rubber mats they let out a yelp. Looking at their foot, when their sock was removed we could see a piece of metal protruding. Tweezers were needed to grab it. It was a curly piece of steel which I was confused by, I had never seen anything like it before. Some further inspection along the rubber walkway to the trampoline turned up another 5 or so of these same sharp pieces. This same unfortunate person then got into the trampoline and again yelled out, another piece lodged even further into their foot. We found another 10 pieces speed around the trampoline. I then was able to put together a theory that the grinder must have shot these around. Looking up photos of grinder brushes left no doubt to what we were finding. This is so incredibly dangerous. To have my backyard littered with tiny sharp pieces of metal is inexcusable. To make this more frustrating I sent pictures of the metal to BBQ Pros and no one apologized or offered any kind of response other than to say thank you for contacting us.

Nick and his crew were top notch. We are on a large hill. They took out a broken wall and replaced beautifully. New interlock walks ways, natural stone steps, interlock driveway, flagstone steps and porch. This was a big project with lots of elevation changes to deal with. Everything came out beautifully. The workmanship was detailed. I remember seeing an angle joint cut placed. The talented Machado looked at it for a few moments, played with the fit and then took it out to start a brand new cut. He was treating my corner like it was his. Real pride in the job. Here is why I would (and have) recommended Nick to a friend: This spring a couple of my driveway pavers had holes in them that had developed. I contacted Nick and he was back quickly to take the problem ones out and replace. No hesitation, no problems. Already decided to use them again for a side of the house walkway. In one day!!! they dug by hand, placed armour stone, river rock, three interlock landing and four steps. What an improvement to my messy side yard full of weeds and grass that couldn't grow! I already have my next job envisioned and will contact Aurora Interlock again next year without hesitation.

Hiring Reiner was the first and best decision when we undertook gutting our entire house. We knew nothing about renovations or construction. Reiner introduced us to a few different contractors and once we had selected a contractor Reiner was there to go over the contract carefully. We worked the payment schedule to encourage the contractor to keep things moving. Once the job was moving Reiner made regular site visits. Hiring Reiner gave me two big things. 1) Security that the job was being done right and 2) A feeling that I was not being taken advantage of by the contractor. I have recommended Reiner to many friends and acquaintances.

We worked with Peter and his team on fully gutting our 1920's house. We are so thrilled with the results. We spent time with Peter before the project began to pick finishes, the result was the project was right on budget. Peter handled changes that we made with ease (add secret door for kids). He also made recommendations that we now love and are so happy that he convinced us to do (remove door and add landing). The house looks great and feels so solid. A total pleasure to work with. I highly recommend you meet with Peter if you are considering any reno work.
