During renovations, ending up damaging our now-discontinued Valor stove. Valor didn't have the parts for this model anymore. Several companies told us they couldn't fix the venting and quoted $6-8K for a new stove installation. As a last effort, we emailed this company. Brian responded, saying they could replace the venting, and he sent out the installer the next day to view and quote the work. He quoted me a price, and I was fortunate to get the work done the following day. Hamid, the installer, was detail-oriented and explained everything. He also "refurbished" the entire unit, making it look like new. He replaced the outer cap as well, ensuring the entire setup now meets current safety code requirements. It was obvious Brian was out to satisfy the customer and not the bottom line of the company. Never even suggested a full stove replacement. 100% recommend.

Called for an estimate which was scheduled in a timely manner. Pricing was competitive and chose Eco-Star because we liked George who came for the estimate. On the day of the work, received a call giving me a heads-up that the crew would arrive within a certain time, which they did. They covered everything that was in the basement and went to work. At the completion of the job, they cleaned up the job site and it was as if they were never there. Respectful when talking with them. Great experience and highly recommend.

During a home inspection, mold was found in a portion of our attic. Researching companies, I came across Mold Guy. After a great conversation with Kay, I chose to use this company. We scheduled the remediation for 8:00 a.m. the day after closing. Right on time, two friendly removers showed up and went to work. Just over 2 hours later, the work was completed faster than expected. They cleaned up the entire staging area and you'd never know they were there. Before and after pictures showed how thorough and complete the work was. Was also great to know that the area was treated to prevent mold growth for about a year. This gives us time to complete some recommendations such as a new washroom exhaust fan and repair of soffits. Received our clearance report that also gave us other recommendations to prevent further mold growth in the home. If this type of service is needed again, no problem calling Kay.

Tony did a great job during the inspection pointing out and explaining everything in detail. He spotted an issue in the attic that gave us concern and in the end, the current owners agreed to cover most of the cost to rectify it. Going forward, we have some solid advice on upkeep of the property and items that may pose a concern in the future. Highly recommended.
