I paid 125.95 for a 89.99 (special) for 3 bedrooms and hallway - I was charged extra for an office (which is a built-in desk in the hallway) - charged for 8 stairs when we have 7. The fellow was in and out in less than 45 minutes - he spent less than 35 minutes shampooing - he was not happy that I did not want to scotchguard because he only makes 16.00/hr otherwise - he did around the beds and furniture and did not move one thing - the wall areas are all dry and still dirty and haven't been touched - he complained about the travel to my house - I said that he did not finish around walls and he said that I was not seeing the 'sprayed' area and that it was done - alll of this was still very dusty and dry to touch. I will not ever use nor recommend this company to anyone. I was told that this was a 'steam' clean when in fact they use shampooers and the carpets are still very wet! I am so tired of type of rip off -

I had asked for quotes on replacing a warranted hot water tank. One company had given me 3 quotes and said that I could not use warantee due to not being first owner in house. I questioned this fact and called Arpies - they called the manufacturer (and so had I) and verified the information - I followed up when I didn't believe the first company and found the warantee to be valid until May of this year - I had my water tank replaced that day for less money plus they are giving me the $ that the warrantee covers once they receive it. This is a good solid company that has been here for several years - they provide excellent service and are very trustworthy. The price was better even without the warrantee - they were honest and punctual. If I'd have gone with the other company I'd be out the warrantee money therefore costing me approx 1005. plus gst more. If pays to check around and not believe everything you are told.
