We requested regular cleaning on their website, it was our first time using them, however the website wasnt easy to understand, the cost of a full house clean with monthly promotion was $309 plus tax and if you choose the individual rooms and bathrooms like we did because we didnt know how the site worked it was $275 including tax. We chose to clean our living room, kitchen, 3 bathrooms (1 is powder and 1 is master) we didnt realize that master bathroom is a separate tab to choose below on the page. We also opted to not include our 4 bedrooms and dining room in this cleaning because we felt it was pricy enough and we can handle the other rooms. There was enough time for a walkthrough prior to the cleaning since I booked it few days prior. There was enough time to ask us questions about the service and clarify any possible misunderstanding. The day they came to clean my wife and I werent home until halfway through the cleaning, the cleaner said that they decided on their own that we needed a deep clean in the master bathroom and the shared washroom upstairs and they wanted to negotiate a new price for the extra service they did without asking us if we wanted it. Overall the cleaning itself was not worth the price in my opinion, I have hired other cleaners in the past and my regular cleaner was unavailable and we chose to go based off of the reviews here, however the only review I can relate with is the one star review that details that they had the same experience as me except they got charged for the extra unwanted service whereas I did not. Stand your ground if you choose to work with them and be clear on what service you want. UPDATE: Christmas Eve 4:26pm I got messages from the cleaner that worked on my home Saturday Dec 23 at 10:00am. I have attached the text messages for transparency and to show how unprofessional this individual is.

You contacted us on December 20 around 4:30 PM asking about a regular cleaning service, I explained that our services really depend on the size of the house, the areas to clean and the type of cleaning you choose. The reservation pages are very clear and many more for you as a realtor who must understand everything about the differences between homes. You, as a realtor who offers these home sales services in this area, must know that not all houses have the same size, the bathrooms are not all the same, with the same size and do not require the same cleaning and therefore the price is different. You focused on requesting a regular service for your home, failing to observe the types of cleaning we offer which were also shared with you for your choice. You chose 3 normal bathrooms, the kitchen/dining room and your living room. You sent a message letting us know that you would not be home. As soon as we arrived at your house and I was able to observe the reality of the condition of your home, I sent you a message to let you know that your reservation had not been created correctly, because what it needed was a deep cleaning instead of a regular one, you delayed It took almost an hour to arrive so we had almost finished doing a deep cleaning in the main bathrooms, which we are proud of since we offer what we are, each human being offers what they have in their heart. I explained to you about your need for deep cleaning, essentially in the bathrooms, which had already had the deep cleaning required except for the light bulbs in the second bathroom, you claimed that you did not understand the reservation and that you wanted to pay for what you had reserved, knowingly that your reservation had been intentionally created incorrectly by not receiving us in your home and not selecting the bathrooms properly in the reservation and putting them all in regular cleaning like normal bathrooms, something that as a realtor knows very well the difference in prices depending on the size of the home and others that no longer necessary to mention. There were no extra charges, we offered a deep cleaning at the price of a regular cleaning for $275.00. We are happy to offer you the deep cleaning service and charge you as a regular cleaning service. Your intentions were calculated and dishonest so Fresh & Shiny cleaning services are for honest, fair and correct clients. I feel sorry for your clients who hire you for their housing needs because professionalism is about honesty, and doing what is fair and right every day and every moment for others. You do not recommend us and would never make a cleaning booking with us. We will not offer you our cleaning services either and we do not recommend your house sales services, nor would we choose you if we were to buy a house in the Durham Area or anywhere. part of the world, for your dishonesty.
