It isn’t often that you meet a “dream” contractor. We feel so fortunate that we were introduced to Joe, Irene and their team at Green Valley Landscaping by a good friend. Our 45 year old backyard hadn’t been attended to in many years and the grass had gone to weed, and attracted various small animals; the landscaping was much overgrown. Our front porch stonework which was only 5 years old was shifting and grout cracking. Green Valley were very responsive to our request for a site visit and quote. Joe came and assessed our project very professionally and within days we had a very thorough quote from Irene. With the rainy summer that we were having, we were sure that our project wouldn’t start on time, but several days before the scheduled start date, we received a call that they could begin. We were going out of town for the weekend but were assured that we did not have to be on site. We came home after the weekend to an amazing transformation of our backyard … new sod, beautiful plantings, use of existing large stones, mulching … we had to re-enter the backyard to make sure we were at the same house. Honesty, creativity, hard working, warm and very responsive, we were more than pleased every step of the way. Joe never made us feel that our “smallish” project was any less important than other residential and commercial projects that he was involved with. Follow up to questions about maintenance and in general were done in a timely manner and very helpful. Any project will benefit from Green Valley’s magic touch. After an assessment of the job, Metro provided a detailed drawing and time line. and quote of exactly what would be included Explanation of what would be involved was patient and thorough. Product installed was exactly as expected. Coordinated well with post office who had to move mailboxes and electrician. Highly recommened for quality and service.

When so many companies are lacking in customer service and followthrough, it's refreshing to deal with a company "Care Team" who set the tone for their service when you call their office with a friendly message . We recently purchased a boiler furnace (rental property) and air conditioner for our own home. Clean, efficient, prompt service and great "guarantees" . We've been clients for over 8 years and have found staff to be concerned, knowledgeable, prompt to respond, especially in critical situations and a pleasure all around.

Jeff refinished several large pieces which we had purchased at an upscale resale store with impeccable detail, restoring parts of the moulding and matching the colouring right on; the shelves he built for inside one of the larger pieces fit to a T, given that he had made them off site. Highly recommended for his willingness to please, short turnaround time, his ability to explain in layman's terms, what needs to be done and quick diagnogis and remedy. He really knows what he's doing.
