We recently started a business and simply don't have time to clean our apartment. We hired Maret's team to get us back on our feet with a clean slate and they did an amazing job. The rooms are brighter and fresher, and I was shocked to see the shower door - it looked like it was brand new! They also tackled some less than nice areas, like the long steep staircase and a basement bathroom with left over contractor mess. Totally worth it, and I am looking forward to their twice a month visits to help us keep on top of things. Thanks!

This review is long overdue as I moved in November, but I figure I should mention that my experience with Ultimate Choice was positive. It was an incredibly long day (9 hours) and we had packed boxes so that they were way too heavy, but the 3 men that did the job worked so hard and didn't complain one bit. It was a stress free move (aside from some unrelated key issues that extended the time). The only reason why I gave them a 9 is that there were a few components of our vintage teak wall unit that weren't wrapped and as such were damaged a bit, but I've resolved that these things come with the territory and I wasn't around at the time to supervise. Also, before the move they gave us 20 free boxes, which was very helpful. I recommended them to my friends and they too found the experience worthwhile. I don't plan on EVER moving again but if I do I know who to call!

We recently installed a new kitchen sink and faucet and were having problems with leaking and the pex connections were coming loose. New Canadians did a great job and were reasonably priced. I am pleased to have found a go to plumber for all my future jobs!

For a few months I have been having water problems in a corner in the basement. I eventually discovered the damage was becoming extensive and there was mold growth. John from Clarke was the third person to have a look and he discovered that it was just a leaky hot water tank (repair = $0 my lucky day). Although I feel that the other two companies would have done a good job, they would have done a needless and expensive job whereas John took that extra moment to really investigate the problem, instead of jumping to conclusions. I called a number of places that rated high on HomeStars but no one seemed to have the time for my relatively small job (I often find that attitude frustrating). Java, however, wasn't scared off by a small job, and we didn't have to wait weeks for them to help us out. On the day of the job, they were prompt, friendly, tidy and efficient. We weren't prepared with a dimmer, but they gave us a really nice one that they had laying about their van. I would definitely call them again! Thanks!
