I found clean water leaking into my 20-year old dishwasher when it was OFF. I emailed Risk and he replied quickly, and he arranged to visit the next day (Saturday). He arrived on-time and had the repair parts in-hand. He explained what the problem was and fixed it quickly. Everything was all done in one hour. Perfect! It was a LOT cheaper that buying a new dishwasher. I appreciate that he is the owner of the business and cares about good results. Highly recommended.

Alija came to my house promptly after I spoke to the company about a water leak from my basement ceiling. He was very courteous. The reason for my dismay is the FIXED cost of $700 to investigate the problem. I felt it was exorbitantly high given that he hadn't even looked into it. However, with a leaking ceiling, I felt little choice but to go ahead. In less than 30 minutes, he found the source of the problem - a leaky water line from the main floor refrigerator. He said he could replace the line for a FIXED cost of $1,000+. This is on top of the $700, and the $40 service call fee. I did NOT proceed with the repair because I felt it was simply not good value for the money. I usually don't write reviews but this incident really burns me up! I just want others to be forewarned about what happened to me. Thanks for reading.

Very pleased with the outcome of both my new front and back doors. We explored several different companies and got quotes for replacement doors. Our old front door had a semi-elliptical transom and we had difficulty finding a design we liked to replace it. When we met San at Home Decor Window & Door Center, he suggested a solid door with a semi-elliptical top and getting rid of the transom all together. Likewise for the back door which had a rectangular transom. In the pictures I show the before and after. We are delighted with the doors, especially the front. It stands out as unique in the neighborhood. I would have rated Home Decor as a 10, except for a minor issue. The gap between the door and the frame of our front door was a tidy 2 mm. The gap in the back door is closer to 4+ mm. There is no problem with the seal, as it is tight on both. It's just a minor observation as the latches are more noticeable on the back door due to the larger gap. Again, we are very pleased with the doors and have no reservations with recommending Home Decor.

It was a pleasure working with Zaid. He responded promptly to my emails and followed up the day prior to confirm arrival time. He and his co-worker arrived on time, as discussed. They moved stuff from a condo and dropped part of the load off at my Mom's retirement home, and then the rest of the stuff off at my house. Everything was moved with care and they did not brush up against or damage any of the existing furniture or walls. Very pleased and highly recommended.

Alex showed up right on time. He is a pleasure to do business with and he took the time to explain the problems with my particular type of faucet and answer my questions. The repair was done quickly and efficiently. Very pleased and I highly recommend Award Plus Plumbing.

After deciding to renovate my unfinished basement, I did an extensive search on contractors and had narrowed my search down to four companies. I invited all four companies to come in and provide an estimate. When Joe from Summit Renovations arrived, my wife and I were very impressed with his attention to detail and thoughtful suggestions. He spent an hour and a half looking around and discussing our needs. Although Summit's quote was not the least expensive, it was by far the most reflective of what we wanted. Before deciding, I called two of Joe’s previous customers and they spoke highly of Summit’s quality of work, work ethic, and cleanliness. That was the confirmation I needed to make my decision to go with Summit. Joe and Mickey did a great job and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. They showed up for work on time and cleaned up every night. Joe always made sure that we were happy with their progress and was always open to our requests. Often, we would ask him and Mickey for ideas because they had so much experience to draw from. I highly recommend Summit Renovations for your next renovation. You will not be disappointed.

I chose Techsystem from positive customer responses on HomeStars and I am very happy that I did! Before Adrian arrived at my house, I prepared a detailed plan of what I needed - two CAT6 lines from the den to the bedrooms, one CAT6 line to the basement, and an access point installed on the ceiling. When Adrian arrived, he took the time to understand my cabling needs and offered excellent alternative solutions. For example, he told me that installing an access point on a stucco ceiling won’t look very nice and could cause damage to the ceiling. Also, he asked if I have plans to stream data (e.g. Netflix) to my televisions (which I do) and he mentioned that hardwires are infinitely preferable to wireless for speed and reliability. Since my basement is in the process of being finished, he suggested hardwiring it now, before the walls go up. If I waited, it would take a lot more effort and cost to do it in the future. When it was all said and done, Adrian installed two CAT6 lines on the second floor, two on the main floor, and three in the basement. I am now wired for the future. Also, he made seven CAT6 patch cables to connect my devices. In terms of costs, it was more than I initially planned and that was simply because I did not consider the other things Adrian suggested. I want you to know that Adrian wasn’t trying to push his services. He was genuinely concerned that I considered all my internet cabling needs and set it up once. You know, sometimes I suffer from buyer’s remorse when I spend more money than I planned. In this case, it is exactly the opposite! After thinking about all the work Adrian did in one (long) day, I feel I received tremendous value and more importantly, I feel that I am setup for the future. Bring on this new technology! I am ready! I highly recommend Techsystem.
