The installation of the laminate flooring, 1/4 rounds and remainders on a rental unit was done well. The place was left clean and unused boards and 1/4 rounds were left behind. However, A&H Flooring Installations' scheduling of the work was handled poorly. The job was scheduled for the Labour Day Monday based on confirmation that work could be done at that time, in spite of it being a holiday. Shortly after, the work then had to be re-scheduled for the Friday prior. As a result of this, materials had to be delivered early to make them sit and cure within the unit. After this re-arrangement was made, another call/email was made to me to say, the work could not be done on the Friday, and had to be moved to the Tuesday, following Labour Day. This was not convenient as no one could open/close the unit on Tuesday because of a prior scheduled trip out-of-town. After a rather irate phone call from the proprietor of A&H Installations, I had to tell him that I would talk to RONA who I made the original arrangements with and left it at that. RONA came to the rescue and only through the intervention of RONA's Project Sales Coordinator did the work get done on the Tuesday. I had to agree to RONA opening up/supervising the work and closing up after to get the work completed. In the future, I will deal only with RONA and not with A&H Installations as their sub-contractor. There was too much back and forthing that, as a client, should not have taken place had A&H Flooring Installations scheduling coordinator been more diligent and up-front with what was possible, without trying to pass the blame onto RONA.

Bill W (RCH1377) and Wes R (1893) arrived on time to install my rental furnace and A/C. Both gentlemen were quite friendly, courteous, conscientious and mindful of not soiling my floors. They wasted little time in getting the job started. I expected that it would take full day for the installation, but they were done by mid-afternoon. The division of labor between the two allowed the work to be done well and efficiently. They cleaned up after the job, and again Bill and Wes separately explained to me what was done and how to manage, maintain and operate the controls. They even went out of their way to remove a piece of furniture from my home. I have nothing but praise and thanks for a job well done. My thanks to Bill and Wes!

D. Ferguson and his crew did a wonderful job of landscaping the front yard of a property we own. But for a glitch at the start of the job, everything was done professionally and completed on time. In addition, Daimon took extra care to bring to fruition what we envisioned for the front yard. Forest Hills Design Group is a landscaping design company we will not hesitate to recommend to others and will not hesitate to use again in the future. Anytime we are at the property and someone walks by, they stop and admire the landscaping and give their complements. Truly, a job well done!

DrainWorks came to our rescue late in the evening on a rental property we owned that had its sewage system back-up. Matt Achcinski was very efficient, competent and was able to resolve the problem to our relief. DrainWorks responded quickly and we would not hesitate at all to use their services again, should the need arise. We are thankful that they are around.

The tradesmen of DrainWorks Plumbing were professional, prompt, extremely hard-working, dependable and completed the work required on schedule. Their very able assistance and focused care on the job came at a most inopportune time (just before Christmas with freezing temperatures), and we are very pleased with their work.
