We reached out to Consumer Direct Windows and Door for the replacement of our Windows and Doors. "Greener Homes Grant" was going to expire so we ordered windows and doors to take advantage of rebate. The company had a promotion on going at the time and said white inside and free upgrades to black on the outside. It was missed that all 5 or 6 windows came white inside and outside resulting in the windows had to be repurchased and reinstalled. Our installer (3rd party) for the collected the windows and noticed the windows were the wrong colour however didn't say anything. I didn't notice until the end of the installation, clean up from the installation was also a big undertaking as the windows were replaced on the same floor but on two opposite sides of the house, dust blew all over. After calling Consumer's, they apologized and agreed there was an error and did not put an issue out to replace and install. Thankfully there was no additional cost. However this was an additional mess that we had to clean up. The basement windows that we were recommended to replace however (4 windows) they were not energy efficient and did not qualify for the rebate. Customer Service from Sales Associate & Consumers was great, through out the process however I wish they would have been able to identify that the windows were wrong at the factory approx. 20 windows that were white/black and 6 were white and white. Thanks
