I bought an old condo in rough shape. Nucu and his team gave it new life. A lot of work was required because of the out-date plumbing and wiring, but these guys know their stuff. The work is superb, and what's more they were able to finish on time, though i gave them a tight schedule. I can't recommend this company highly enough.

I checked out companies online and went with Alex and Slon because of the Home Star reviews. You never know when you get your advice online, but Alex was great--a genuinely good guy. The work was perfect and clean, Alex led me through the process and complied quickly with the many building requirements for diagrams and work descriptions, he was friendly and clear, always on time, and the cost was very reasonable considering all the steps required when you're soundproofing. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended

My cords on my living-room blinds were breaking after 14 years. I thought I would need to replace the entire blind, especially since one blind had suffered unsightly water damage, but when I told Nick that money was tight right now, he suggested I just replace the cords and that this would give me another 5 years or so. And then, he showed me how to clean the water stains myself, at no cost. He's a sweet, very knowledgeable, straight-up kind of guy, an old-school craftsman. They don't make them like him anymore.
