Cain carried out two renovation projects in our basement, very successfully, efficiently, on budget and on time . The first project was the bathroom. This involved removing the old shower stall, toilet and sink, as well as relocating the heating duct, rewiring, and replacing one of the bathroom walls due to wood rot. The drain pipes in the concrete bathroom floor also had to be replaced due to serious deterioration of the pipes and the concrete around them. The completed bathroom consists of an entirely tiled shower stall and floor, partially tiled walls, new toilet and sink with vanity, modern plumbing throughout, and new lighting. The second renovation project took place in the utility room. This included a new floor constructed with interlocking vinyl panels, new wall panelling over a new laundry sink and vanity, with an adjacent counter top. We had a very good working relationship with Cain throughout both of these projects, in spite of discovering some unforeseen additional problems such as deteriorated pipes under the concrete floor and wood rot in the walls. We were always able to discuss these surprises with Cain in a friendly and calm manner and determine with him the best solutions.
