We have nothing but good things to say about West Ottawa Home Comfort. They repaired our A/C in a timely, efficient and professional manner. They even checked back after a week to ensure everything was working as we expected.
Bill is the consummate professional. He was able to design, match and get us exactly what we asked for, all in a short period of time. Would use again. He was friendly, helpful and got ys a great price on materials. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.
Capital Stoneworks did such a great job for us (at a very reasonable price), that we have used them a couple of times (for us and for clients) and have referred them to at least a dozen (now satisfied) customers. They "rock"!
We went in looking for a coffee machine and the salesperson was very knowledgeable and friendly. With no pressure at all, he was able to find a machine that met all our needs. It has been 5 years and the machine is still great! Would definitely go back for appliance needs.
Absolutely THE WORST shopping experience at HD Baseline. I normally shop at the Kanata location, and love it there. This time, I thought I would stop at the Baseline location on the way home from work. I was buying some supplies for a client. Easy, right? Wrong! I couldn't find anyone in the paint section to "shake" my paint cans. Then, I get everything I need and get to the cash. I pay with my Amex. Well, their printer is not working. They ask me if I need a receipt. Uh, yes. I need to get reimbursed. They tell me it will take 10-15 minutes for machine to reboot. I ask if they can just return the materials and resell them to me. "Oh yeah, sure..let's go to the Customer Service desk at the other end of store". We go there and their system hasn't "caught up" so they can't find my order, even though they full-well know I just purchased it. They call a manager, they look in their system, still can't find it. They assume the transaction never took place. I tell them that yes, it did because I put my PIN in the machine and got an "approved" message. They don't believe me. I have to call AMEX and confirm that the charge went through my card. At this point (40 mins later) they tell me "ok, just go". HELLO!?!?! I NEED A RECEIPT. Finally, they realize that yes, they can return the stuff and sell it to me again. I get to leave with my purchases and receipt only 50 minutes later, and no apology. Disgusting!
We hired Exteriors by Design to do a total landscape project in our front AND back yard. This included new sod, new interlock, new deck and new asphalt in driveway. This company has a great project management team. The projects were planned, set-up and executed perfectly. When there was some trouble with one of their contractors screwing up a previous contractor's work, they remedied it quickly. Would definitely recommend!
