We had our furnace induction blower fan fixed during the middle of winter. They came out in a timely manner (although with a weekend/holiday surcharge) and had everything fixed within a few days. it took longer than expected since they had to order in the part for our 18 year old Rudd furnace.
We had Scott security monitoring our Condo for 3 years from 2007-2010, so when we moved to a house in 2010 we decided to keep Scott Security. They were really good at ensuring everything was done in a timely manner. Our windows and doors were already pre-wired for an Alarm system, so it made their job a little easier but still everything was done rather quickly. The only thing i have an issue with is their lack of technological advances such as the video monitoring over internet/cellphones since other companies are now offering those systems at comparable or lower monthly costs than what I'm paying now ($30/month). I feel for $360 annually I should be getting more than just a monitoring from a central dispatch. Other companies are offering simple alarm monitoring for far less money. Nevertheless Scott Security was always good at being able to upgrade my panels and to accommodate my needs.
Full Roof Replacement from Cedar shakes to Triple Layer shingles.
It was summer of 2012, we needed to have our cedar shake roof replaced as it had been 18 years and some of the shakes were starting to curl or peel off. Seeked and obtained approx 6 roof quotes and although Adanac's quote was definitely not the cheapest, we felt they were definitely worth the price. This was solely based on seeing some of the work they had done on other homes and speaking with the owners as well to find out about their experience. David was always timely in his intial appointments to discuss pricing and available products. Knowing that we will be spending a fair amount of dollars on the roof, we really did not want to save a few hundreds or even thousands to have a roof start leaking after a few years, or even just to deal with a crew that wasn't professional and timely. I do not want to babysit companies while they're on site. Although it took a few different phone calls to get the start date correct (a few mixups delayed the project by a week or so), the roofing crew at Adanac was courteous, and timely. The crew of 5-6 showed up every morning for the 4 or 5 days (can't remember exactly how long it took) early and on time and always cleaned up the yard and front of the house area prior to end of day. This was important to us as we have a young toddler and wouldn't want her to step onto or play with rusted nails. We have a large patio cover/gazebo on the back patio and although I thought it would be impossible to move without disassembling, the crew moved it with ease. The crew was always properly harnessed while working on the roof which was good since I was not looking to perform CPR during the reroofing project. It's now been 6 months since the roof installation (first initial review somehow didn't submit properly) and everything still looks good. Definitely no complaints here and I would not hesitate to recommend David and his crew at Adanac for your roofing needs. XT
