Nova Tile re-tiled my basement walk-in shower and bathroom floor as part of a larger project with a general contractor. He was polite, professional and arrived when he said he would. The tiling job looks absolutely perfect (level where it should be level, sloped where it should be sloped, even spacing etc). I'd hire him again if I needed more tiling anywhere.

We hired Rob for a few small repairs related to installing replacement kitchen appliances. Rob cut our granite countertop and installed our new cooktop. He replaced our outdated and dangerous kitchen ventilation with proper pipe. He also repaired our bathroom (drywall) ceiling. Rob's drywall repairs were flawless. At every stage he was an excellent communicator, showing us exactly what he needed to do and why. He also offered suggestions on what we could do ourselves (such as priming the walls, or grouting tile) to keep costs down. He was very clear on what his fees are for every part of the job. Rob was friendly, professional and ethical. When we need more work done, we'll be phoning Rob.

We had a furnace that was not to building code (not enough maintenance clearance space) and the new furnace had to be rotated 90 degrees in a confined space in order to be to code. The air return had to be rebuilt and everything reconfigured for the new layout. The space was cramped! McKinnon heating/cooling came up with some unique, clever solutions to a very challenging installation. Workers made everything so organized, tidy and clean we were amazed. Thanks especially to Tran! PS - We recommended McKinnon to neighbours for AC and they're happy too.
