So I had a bunch of stone in my backyard and needed a bin to get rid of all of it. I came to homestars.com and found that Des had a bunch of good ratings... well now I know why. I called him at least 4 times because I was a little disorganized getting help to move this stone into the bin. Des was so helpful. I eventually lined up the help and called him on Friday, dreaming of a same day (Friday) drop off (good luck) so I could load it over the weekend. He had the bin to my house in an hour. Yes 1hr. The bin was dropped off. We agreed he would pick it up on Sunday. I called him Sunday seeing if he could pick it up Monday because I did not have the bin full yet and the answer: "Yes Sir, no problem" So Monday at 9:00am bin was picked up. He always answers his phone and is totally delightful. I wish he was a carpenter, electrician and plumber as well. Thanks again Des

David's service and crew are excellent. I absolutely love the day they have come because the garden looks great and transforms the house. He knows what he is doing for sure and if there are any problems he will make it right. I have been a customer for 2 years now

My experience happend in Nov 2006, Firstly, the day before my move i called to ask about any costs in the event that we had to reschedule because of sickness. The clerk who was clearly not paying attention and was not listening took that to mean that we wanted to cancel. So when they were 1 hr. late on moving day and I called thats right they were not coming. Good thing I had left one cup out of the box so we could get some water for the day! your getting the picture. Absolute nightmore with a 6 month old who was sick. Anyway we rescheduled and moved 4 days later. Fun living out of boxed in a completely packed up house for 4 days. It took tree or four guys all day to move a one bedroom apartment. What a rip. The biggest problem that I learned the hard way is that estimates are a licence to print money. They guys end up sandbagging so it takes all day because if they don't move things from 4-5 or finish early guess what they don't bill those hours and don't get paid. Basically it was a complete rip off. I would never move again without a fixed quote. the only redeeming thing what that they did not break anything and did not damage anthing in the new house moving in.

Fred and his Crew were outstanding. One of the best trades we had in the house. The work is amazing. These people know details!!! They did our bathrooms and kitchen all slab marble. 6months of work and it is stunning. I would only ever deal with this group if doing it again. Price is not the cheepest but I would pay more then they charged. Esp now seeing the results. No nickly dining either. They are the best in the city and they know what they are doing. (Crap looks like Crap forever)- don't use anyone else.

Norm and Dave know quality and don't let anyone get away with anything but perfection. The quality is unsurpassed, the trades they use are the best. Would not trust anyone else.
