Our experience with McKinnon Heating Cooling has been an entirely positive one. The firm was confidently recommended by a neighbour who recently had a heat pump system installed by them in a timely manner. Our own requirements were for a stand-alone AC system separate from the central HVAC, on the top floor of our three storey house. Owner Michael N. responded with a site visit within a day and provided options for installation of an appropriate system. There was no hard sell, just a competent, professional opinion and very reasonable pricing. We opted for a ductless split system that involved an indoor wall-mounted air handler and an outdoor condensing unit. Installation of the system was completed in an impressively short time frame and installers Bran and JR were professional and efficient. We especially appreciated the lengths they went to in rolling out protective runners on all the stairs and floor areas before undertaking the work. McKinnon Heating facilitated contact with an electrical firm that was able to respond within a week with installation of dedicated wiring circuitry through the house to accommodate the system. We would highly recommend McKinnon Heating Cooling for all heating and cooling solutions. Going forward, we intend to use this firm for replacement of our aging central heating / HVAC system and water heater as they are well-versed in the latest heat pump technology that well be looking to switch to.
