Required q large section of my homes's roof to be reshingled...checked out several advertised roofers from the yellow pages , the internet, and local paper , 7 in all & was given quotes that were in the stratosphere...3 of these roofing contractors didn't even bother to come out to look at the job but gave me quotes over the phone...finally heard back from Volga Roofing, ( local paper ad ) & they arrived 2 days later, did an assessment & quoted me a price that was very reasonable. Before I gave them the go ahead I mentioned to the company owner ' Alena ' that I required at least 1 referral..That very day after Volga had left I visited the referral, talked to home owner, looked at the job and went away satisfied that I wasn't dealing with a fly by nighter. The referral had glowing comments about Volga...So the job was given to Volga..They arrive approximately 2 weeks later due to weather concerns and prior customers... Now the job and the crew: 1) Very approachable and friendly 2)considerate...covered my shrub bed with tarps and plywood to protect the growth from falling waste & debris 3) straight forward no bull , in what I needed doing 4) cleaned up the site after the work was completed very thoroughly 5) did not forget to clean the eaves that were full of granules 6)Did not bend or damage my eaves trough with their ladder 7) used 30 year fiber glass mixed shingle product 8)Did an inspection and a repair, " tune up " to other sections of the homes roof , where there was wind damage, without charge and without me having to ask them...Lastly ..an excellent experience & encounter that I would most definitely recommend to any one requiring roofing work

engaged giglio to do 2 walkways at my home..front and side between june 10/15 & june 18th/15..work was done fast & efficiently by the crew of Giglio...but with some reservations...while performing the job the bobcat operator for giglio damaged a small portion of my asphalt driveway adjacent to the first step of the walkway. To this day the damage has not been repaired after numerous calls to the boss "Frank " of giglio..too many to mention. secondly Frank the boss does not return calls on a timely basis..many weeks can go by before you hear from him..Next my wife & I discovered 2 more deficiencies in the work after the job was done...I completely fixed one...a pocket in the underside of the concrete on the side walkway where the walkway starts from a tree bed & goes along side the garage...this was caused by the concrete not completely settling & was missed by Frank's crew, being up against the tree bed..the next deficiency which was mentioned in several phone messages at frank's business number involved a piece of concrete which broke off the lip of the first step adjacent to the asphalt driveway...I told frank in the numerous messages that I partially repaired the damage to the chipped step and that all I needed was colour to mix with my masonry coating to finish the repair..Frank call's back, acknowledges but then is a no show once again.....So in conclusion there are 2 deficiencies waiting 7 weeks to be addressed by this company and this man prefers that I go away...bottom line Frank, (Giglio Construction ) has a lot to improve where customer service is at stake and I would only recommend his business if you are a handyman
