Last year, I hired Life Maid Easy to clean an apartment that I manage; had a few unit showings coming up. They did an alright job, however, did miss a pretty obvious dusty cobweb hanging on the kitchen lights. Otherwise, I think I could have spent 2 hours of my own time cleaning instead of hiring.

I tried Royas through an online deal because my cream carpets were ruined by potty-training puppy. They did a great job cleaning the carpet; I only got the basic cleaning as part of the online deal. The result was just as Kia had described and what I had expected. And Kia was such a pleasure to work with and remembered me when I called almost a year later! I would definitely use them again if I hadn't recently renovated my floors to bamboo. I highly recommend Royas for carpet cleaning.

I needed help with painting my apartment, I had no idea where to begin. Fiona found me wandering around in the paint aisle and immediately took me through everything I needed to know about painting my apartment. She took the time to help me gather sample swatches and gave recommendations as well as personal tips. She remembered me when I came back to get more paint and was also courteous and fun to talk to. I have only been asking for Fiona when I went but I'm sure all of the associates there are just as helpful.

Overall, I am pretty disappointed with this company. The project manager I was working with was very professional but the contractors were a different story. There was also a few miscommunication incidences. The contractors installed the bamboo flooring decently, and then replaced the baseboards by ripping off the old ones and just nailing on the new ones. They claimed project completion when there were still noticeable gaps between the baseboards and the wall. They also missed a section in the bathroom. I had to contact the company to get the contractors to come back to do the bathroom section as well as caulk the baseboards properly. They were impatient with me when I pointed out the various places that needed touch-ups. And after they left, I noticed large gaps under the newly-installed window ledges. It looked like they had broken off various pieces during the removal and didn't patch them up before attaching the new ledge; I had to patch them up myself. The rest of my renovation plans had to be pushed back more than one week due to waiting for this project to be complete. This is not what I expect from a hired professional renovation company. I would not recommend this company.

I hired The Move Man to do a move-out/move-in for my apartment renovation. The boys were all prompt and professional, and so careful with everything. They never wasted a minute of my time. Very satisfied with the whole experience, from making appointments with Deppy to the 3 boys that did the move. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know!
