I built a new house 5 years ago and after my first roofers did many things wrong & cut corners, I hired Avenue Rd Roofing to "rip & replace" my large & complicated roof. They did a fantastic job. However, on heavy rainstorms where the wind was blowing against the east side of my house, I had a leak in my dormer. We could not locate it after many tests and inspections. Avenue (Kas) came out several times and was always helpful in trying to figure out the problem. When it was finally located, Avenue followed through on their warranty program and provided a long term solution (i.e. not just a "caulking" solution). They replaced my step flashing & reinforced it with additional protection. Shane did the repair and he was meticulous. Jason managed the warranty scheduling and was very accommodating to my request to be there during the repair. He also called me after the repair to make sure I was happy with the outcome. I can't tell you how happy I was after this nagging problem was finally found & repaired. At no point in the several visits & calls to my home did Avenue try to blame some other factor for my leak. They took full responsibility. My recommendation to all homeowners - pay the premium and get your roof done right with a great, reputable company who stands by their product!

I have 3 stucco dormers on my newly built home and after only a few years, the stucco appeared porous and started absorbing water after it rained. I was connected to Abraxis through a referral and the experience was unbelievably smooth & pleasant. Their quote was very reasonable so I didn't bother getting a competing quote. They showed up for our meeting on time and followed through on their timely arrival on the day they committed to doing the work, weather permitting. They were professional, clean, respectful and very accommodating to my specific needs. After the first 2 coats were completed, I noticed that perhaps the stucco had absorbed more water resistant paint than anticipated and they offered to apply another quote without asking for more money. I also decided last minute to have my 2 backyard fences water proofed since the job was over a 2 day period. They easily accommodated that too. Rafael & Erik are the new generation of entrepreneurs in the trade industry - they really know how to run a business and understand what customer service means.

I'm a new customer of AtlasCare. I called them a few weeks ago for a maintenance contract on the 2 furnaces, 2 humidifiers, and 1 HRV unit in my newly built (2 yr old) house. The customer care representative was very helpful & knowledgeable -she pointed me to the right plan and was not "salesy" in trying to sell me more services than I need at this point. They were very flexible on the schedule for my first 21-point inspection + cleaning appointment which they could do within a few days. When Eric arrived for the inspection & cleaning, he pointed out several things that were not set properly from my installers. My brand new humidifiers were not turning on due to an incorrect setting and my HRV unit was not kicking in at the right times. He gave me a very thorough orientation on the settings and optimal operation of my furnaces. He cleaned both furnaces and ended up not charging me on one of the extra services I purchased because no servicing was actually required. I found the technician to be very respectful of our house, ensuring he had covers for his shoes and always closing the gate behind him to go downstairs so my 2-year old wouldn't follow (a house rule we advised him about). This was a new experience for me since I had Enbridge at my old house for many years - what a difference in service, care, & attention levels!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to for a good service/value combo. You get more than what you pay for with Atlas Care - honest, diligent, & customer friendly people.

I recently built a new house & dealt with over 50 contractors during the process. Patterned Concrete Mississauga is by far a Top 5% contractor. They are very professional, organized, & provide a very high product quality & service. We completed a large project to pour patterned concrete for a new patio, walkway (both sides of house), and curbs for our circular driveway. This company is impressive on all fronts. They return calls/emails in a timely fashion, provide CAD drawings that you agree on before the work gets started, resolve issues quickly, and their people (every one of them) throughout the process were pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and flexible. Tom is the sales rep we dealt with and he won our business with his prompt & knowledgeable responses to our questions. Susy handled the design & administration and is on top of everything. And Dino was the production foreman and made sure everything was done according to plan. Even the washing & sealing crew did a wonderful job. Overall, I highly recommend this company. You are getting quality & value for your money.

I found Dave's Duct Cleaning along with 3 other well-rated companies through my research on Homestars. I emailed all of them for more information and Dave was the only one who bothered to call me to review my needs, discuss the work, and provide additional information on the company & their cleaning process. He was competitively priced so I hired them for my newly constructed home. Andrew & Mark were onsite for the cleaning. They were on time, very professional & courteous, and thoroughly explained everything that they will be doing. They showed me before/after photos which showed great results and also discovered that my furnace blower needed a cleaning as well so they did that at the same time. After they finished, they cleaned up and left everything as it was when they got there. No hassles, reliable, good results, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I am in the process of building a new house. We encountered a roof leak and the contractors (roofer & aluminum guys) were not being cooperative in trying to locate and fix the issue. They were pointing fingers at one another. I contacted David @ IRIS and he came promptly, went on the roof, and identified a several quality issues with both the roofer & aluminum contractors. He wrote an independent report and also facilitated a discussion with the roofer. The key to hiring David was to have an unbiased opinion and report to show the contractors what needs to be fixed. Home inspectors will not go on your roof to find installation defects like IRIS could do. Thanks, David!
