Andre did an excellent job repairing our bedroom ceiling. Scheduling was easy and pricing was fair. Andre was punctual and careful, and we are very pleased with the final result. We were especially pleased with the care he took to minimize dust and debris, and to clean up at the end of each visit. We will definitely reach out for future projects.

We hired Clear Cut to give our tired kitchen an update, and to paint a small bedroom upstairs. We are so pleased with the outcome. The kitchen looks like new - light and bright. The meticulous prep work took about a day, and then the spray painting another day, and then the cabinet doors and drawer fronts were returned a few weeks later (which involved working until early evening on a Friday before a long weekend in order to get the job done - much appreciated). The process for us involved emptying the kitchen, cleaning up the dust, and living a couple of weeks with open shelving. The crew was a really nice group of guys who did quality work. Communication with Matt via email was timely and clear, and the final cost was exactly what was broken down in the original estimate. It's always a relief to find contractors who are trustworthy and hassle-free. Highly recommended.

We are so happy that we found Noel on Homestars! What a genuinely nice person to work with. Noel did exactly what we asked - he replaced our old rotted deck, tore down an old pergola, and then repaired parts of our fence while leaving what was still in good condition. Noels attention to detail was outstanding, and is obviously a reflection of his background in fine arts. I also appreciated the little things - like how courteous he was to our neighbours and how clean and tidy he left the work site each evening. The project came in on time and on budget, and at a fair and reasonable price. We look forward to hiring Noel again in the future.

We hired Finer Edge Painting to paint several rooms and spaces inside our 100-year-old home, as well as the entire exterior. The process could not have gone more smoothly. Luigi and his crew were punctual (always arriving promptly at 7:30 every day as discussed), polite, and flexible. We were so pleased with the work that we promptly requested that some additional spaces also be painted, and the response from the team was consistently, "no problem - we can do that." As a mother of two young children, I was especially grateful for the daily clean-up and overall tidiness of the crew - spaces were always free of dust, furniture was covered, and materials tucked away. My husband was particularly impressed with the care that the team took when doing the exterior - the detailed preparation of each surface prior to painting was incredibly thorough. This was the best experience we've had with a contractor in the five years since we purchased the home - we will certainly be calling them in the future, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

I would also like to add my positive review here. After spotting a mouse scurrying across the living room floor this fall, I called Pesticon the next morning, based on reviews on this site. I received a same-day visit, and afterward was told that there would likely be no signs of my little friend in 3-14 days. As a mother of two small girls, I was satisfied that the discretely placed bait and traps were safe. About 6 weeks later, I found a few droppings under the kitchen sink, so I decided to take advantage of their 6-month guarantee and requested another visit. Mr. Ahmed came over that very day to have a look, to address the issue (put additional bait trap under sink, bait behind stove, etc.). Although I tried to tip him for the prompt visit, Mr. Ahmed politely refused, saying that he would come back "50 times if he had to" at no additional charge. As the weather turns colder, I am so relieved to know that professional help is just a phone call away should we have problems in the future. Would recommend this company with absolutely no hesitation.

Thank you, Sunny! After giving birth to a new baby on December 22, 2011 my husband & I and our new daughter came home on December 23 to a house full of family staying with us from the East Coast. Overnight on Christmas Eve, we discovered that our home was approximately 14 degrees on the main floor, and even cooler on the upper floor and basement. Our boiler broke down! Not expecting to reach anyone on Christmas morning (!) Sunny actually answered his phone! He said he would be there within two hours, arrived in less than one, promptly fixed the boiler, and at absolutely no additional cost for coming on the holiday! The boiler is more than 20 years old and will soon need replacing, but we managed to get through the rest of the winter without any problems. Possibly the best customer service experience we've ever had! I suspect there are others out there who may have taken advantage of our difficult situation. Thanks again!
