My name is Paul. I contacted this company to build my front door. I found picture of the door they advertised with and told them I want exactly same door as a picture. Have proof of that conversation incl pics. Sales representative showed up to our house, measured opening , we finalized color, all good. Told him several times I want door to be build exactly same as a picture of their previous.( same trim, site lite and overall style). Told me no problem, gave him $1000 deposit and he left. 6 weeks later told me my door is ready but city fined him with covid19 regulation and shut down his shop. Sent me a picture of my door. I couldn’t believe it. Was totally different than supposed to be. Wrong trim on the glass, frameless site lite instead of glass on the same height as a door and everything else solid frame plus different thickness of the frame around glass on actual door.If you put picture next to each other it’s not even close. Called company and explained that’s not a door I ordered it. They promised they will make that work even if they going to loose money to make customer happy. 2 weeks later owner of the company called and said I will have pay extra for changes( I wasn’t make any changes , I wanted same door from day one). Once I told him I am not going to pay extra he started yelling that he can show me his gradma’s picture of the door and that doesn’t mean anything and he’s not going to do anything because he already built that door. I am in construction business for years and never seen guy like this before not standing behind he’s work.Unfortunately I have to go to court with this company to get my deposit back. It is very unfortunate how some clients will lie when they would do anything to try to get out of paying for their product. Paul came to the shop yesterday and picked up the door that he had ordered. He asked for a modern door with three panels and one side light. The current measurements of his openings are 47.5x 83 1/4. We have to be able to make the door as per the specifications and what the opening allows us. Our sales manager Mosen explained this throughly upon his initial visit which took place for two hours which during the visit Paul and his wife got into an argument many time and spoke their own language and Mosen walked out. They called him back in and agreed to go ahead with us based on what the measurements allowed. The issue was that Paul and his wife wanted a frame around the side light which is impossible given the size. Mosen drew the picture of what the door and the side light will look like and we delivered exactly the same as what's on the contract which I will share on homestar. Paul then called and said no this wasn't what we agreed upon even though it's very very clear on the contract as to what they had purchased. He than asked that we chang the Glass frame on the door to make it thicker which we did at no cost to him and delivered exactly what he wanted. As I mentioned it's very unfortunate how some clients lie. When he came to pick up the door he knew by posting this that it was wrong however the right thing to do was to acknowledge and apologize: and remove this review. I'll ask you this if he was so unsatisfied why did he pick up the door and pay for it??????? These types of reviews we welcome because it allows us to show that anybody can post a review that is untrue and in fact very wrong but you cannot change someone's personality. Regardless we wish them well and we hope that they enjoy their new door because it looks great. And by the way the door was ready within 2 weeks to be picked up under COVID circumstances and because they changed their mind to add additional features we had to make the changes. We were on time as promised. You can't win them all.
