We have been using Lawnsavers for several years and service has been great. Our lawn was a disaster when we moved in 6 years ago and with the help of Lawnsavers our yard looks fantastic now. The grass is in great condition and only a handful of weeds remain...6 years ago we virtually had no grass! Their grass seed is phenomenal - always grows and is super soft under the feet.

A year ago we had Clarke Basements upgrade our pedestal sump pump to the Triple Safe sump pump in our new home (best thing we ever did!!). Matt came out to perform our annual service on our sump pump to make sure everything was running the way it is supposed to. Matt was great - he was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Matt explained everything to me that he was going to do as part of the service and was happy to answer my questions. At the end of the appointment, he brought a couple of cracks in my basement to my attention, and even took the time to investigate the outside of my home to check for these cracks. He did not pressure me in any way to have the cracks fixed, but explained what to look for in case the cracks became worse or started to leak. My rating for this review is not reflective of Matt's work - if this review was solely based on Matt, it would be a 10/10. I have rated this review 9/10 (4/5 for the company, 5/5 for recommending the company) because when we had our new pump installed, we were informed that with the new pump, the first service would be free (service is normally > $200). When I called to book the appointment, I was upset to find out that this was not the case since there was nothing indicated on my file. However, the lady on the phone (Stephanie) went out of her way to work with me to come to a solution for the misunderstanding and I really appreciate the effort she made on my behalf. Yes, this was partially my fault for not ensuring this promise was in writing, but the way it was explained to us was that it was all part of the new sump pump. I have learned my lesson. I will be calling Clarke again next year for my annual service. I strongly recommend Clarke...just be sure to get everything in writing, especially if sales guy or installation guys promise a free first service. This is our second time using Robert from Halton Gas Services. First time was to bring our gas line up to code when we moved in 2 years ago (requirement for Union Gas), and this time was for our bbq gas line. I found Rent-A-Son here on HomeStars, and was impressed with all of the positive reviews. Hussein came to my home to do the in-home estimate and answered all of my questions. Through email (my preference) he maintained communication with me during the estimate process and followed up with me after the move. The 4 guys that showed up for my move were awesome! They were friendly, punctual, professional, and were very careful with all of my belongings. The guys worked hard the whole time, and finished earlier than was estimated (which saved me a lot of money!). I would recommend Rent-A-Son to everyone I know! They may cost a bit more than some of the other companies, but you get what you pay for! I wanted movers that were capable and professional, and that is exactly what I got. Thanks Rent-A-Son!
