Wasn't sure what was causing the blockage or where it was, was but some nasty things were coming through the shower., and had a feeling it was the main drain. I called Main Drain and Plumbing and made an appointment for early the next day, as it was late already and I didn't want to stay up much longer. In short the problem was solved and I was impressed with the work. Because of the nature of the problem, the solution isn't permanent but that's fine for now ( a permanent solution option was presented, which isn't feasible right now). Many things were impressive: 1) on time 2) very fair price 3) two workers instead of usual 1 ( not sure if always done) 4) included camera of line (RR charging extra for this) 5) tool attachment used designed for root removal 6) cleanliness 7) customer service Because of the nature of my plumbing, several obstacles had to be overcome, but these where handled with aplomb! I am comfortable recommending these guys if you have a main drain problem certainly. I suspect other work will be just and through and professional - so I will keep them in mind for this as well. Had water damage that required removal of several walls and repair. That was done by a contractor assigned by home insurance, however the painting I was able to choose. I chose Student Painting mainly because the job was simple, and I felt it would help the students as well as be cost effective. I paid for the paint separately and they did the job well. Thank you.

Good job opening the pool on short notice with several people to make the job faster. High powered equipment helped speed the job as well. No complaints. Would hire again.

Excellent job cleaning. Also tested for CO and leaks. Feel that it is worth performing this even though today's modern furnaces are cleaner than the old ones. Would recommend doing every few years, if not every year.

Was recommended by a friend. My drain was clogged and Al cleaned the full gutter and unplugged the downspout. As well he repointed the gutter so it had a angle to drain better.

Had Alpha redo my roof. Was done effectively and at a good price. They worked with me to do half of another roof, which was not completed by another contractor, at a reasonable price as I had the shingles. I got the new job done for less than the big name companies using better quality shingles. Cleanup could have been better after the job. Perhaps will never be 100% perfect but a bit more attention in this area.

Gasguys.ca were sent by Hayward to check and repair my pool heater. Very happy with the service call and the cost was comparable to other companies , even though he acting as the manufacturer's tech.

Brian and team did an excellent job in several family homes. After the first job we contracted him to do several others. Each was done at an excellent cost and with high standards. If you are ok with using using established but perhaps not the top-of-the-line brands that might have a few more issues (but they all do), then call Mandarin .

Canlik redid my cabinet doors and also added some new ones over 5 years ago. Did a very good job at a reasonable cost though don't recall exactly what that was. The quality of the material was good as was the workmanship. Am planing to make further adjustments and use them again.

Our furnace went out in the home our our 85 year old Mom. It was below zero, I was calling around frantically to find a furnace that could be installed ASAP. The soonest I could find was 48 hours. Out of desperation perhaps I checked Craigslist, and found an ad that was appealing. A 95% effiency Goodman similar to the one I owned, but this was for $1000 less! I emailed and received a clear reply with further information. I spoke to the owner of the company, Brian who was knowledgable and wanted to help. He said next afternoon he could get it installed. Brian is not new in business and has had work associations with some of the major gas companies. I checked on the licensing and insurance, and all appeared to be in order. The job start and ran a bit late, but the bottom line was that only one night without heat was suffered. The bottom line is that the furnance was installed flawlessly, works perfectly. And to top it off Brian came back another day to drop of the warranty, and fixed up the old humidifer which wasn't working. Although Craigslist isn't where I expected to find high-quality service people at a good price, in this case I did. No extra charges or surprises. I also checked homestars and saw some good reviews but as he was fairly new not a lot. Thank you Craigslist and Brian and his fellow workers and Homestars.

Have tried a bunch of different pool contractors for openings and closing, and Waterboy seems to be the best thus far. Doug, the owner, runs a highly professional and skillful service and stays on site with the hired hands, from what I've seen. They are concientious and through, and document all work. Prices are reasonable, probably about average, but the work is above average making it a great value. Thanks Doug! Larry, North York
