During my latest AC maintenance (5 years) the technician noticed the motor was sounding like it was degrading (loud). The technician ordered a new motor and when it came, ran into another manufacturer defect where the fan had rusted to the motor. The tech had to order a new fan to complete the job, and used a co-worker to properly and carefully install it (I have a high mounted, heat pump system). In all it cost them 4 visits with 2 guys over 2 business days, but they insisted on getting it right, as a long term fix and never once suggested a shortcut - and all under warranty. I felt taken care of, instead of pressured to move to the next job, unlike my previous furnace company. Thank you so much Garrison and Jake from Francis Home Environment in Ottawa. It was a pleasure working with Ken. He kept me informed of what was going on, as he knew I wanted to see all the underlying fixes and details, having been burned by other contractors. His attention to detail and understanding were key – because he would text me to come out as he closed up nearly everything, I could work inside without worry that I had to hover over him – which allowed me to actually get work done, and make money, over this process. That is a huge niche value for your company that I would highly emphasize when I recommend Ken, Shawn and Rydel to my neighbours and co-workers. He was very patient.

I had great and careful installers who went above to explain what they were doing at each step. It was a big project and they took extra care even though it went beyond the scheduled time - they didn't rush the job.
