I had a snapped counter balance spring. This meant that the garage door was not opening or closing properly and was riding the tracks askew. A quick call to Dodds had a technician out the next day arriving on time and fixing the issue in less than 30 min. The garage door now works just as before I love it when the services are quick and efficient like they are when Dodds does it.

I had a small backsplash of 45 sqft that needed to be completed in a short time frame to finish off a kitchen renovation. Marco was very responsive and manage to fit me in within his other jobs that he was working on. During the work on the backsplash he was very detailed oriented and did a fantastic job tiling the backsplash. Excellent work and would definetly hire him again.

This was first re-roof on my 2500 sqft home and having gotten quotes from 8 different vendors across 4 roofing product lines from Certainteed, IKO, BP and GAF I came across many lifetime roofing systems across a broad range of price points from about $8K all the way to almost $18K. I consider myself reasonably knowledgeable about home renovation and construction so it was interesting how many vendors try and use multiple tactics to decieve and pressure sell you their services. Todd from George Kent was very honest and knowledgeable and about the product and in assessing the roofing condition from both the inside and out. There was only 2 other vendors that did the same. The worst of the vendors basically only drive by and drop a quote into the mailbox. What finally sold me on going with George Kent was the longevity and reputation of the company. They have been in business since 1949 and has and excellent BBB rating. The job I wanted done was to replace the roof with something that will last a lifetime but not cost me an arm and a leg to achieve this. So with both a long time in business, a great reputation and a reasonable price (not the lowest or the highest) I chose to go with George Kent. It took a whole month to schedule the job using GAF Timberline HD with the full array of GAF ice shield, and Deck underlayment. This system is warranted for 50yrs which is as close to lifetime that I needed. The entire installation occured in two phases first the roof followed by insulation a week or so later. The teardown and installation (new 1/2" roof decking replaced on the main roof) tookalmost 3 days to complete and other than some cieling crack on the second floor washroom ceiling caused by an errant mistep, which George Kent fixed everything went really well and the job the roofing team did was top notch. The team left the property cleaned and magnetically swept the driveway of nails. The insulation team came afterward and installed the baffles and connected the exhaust fan to the roof vent and filled the attic to R50 with blown fiberglass insulation from Certainteed. This made a huge difference in the effectiveness of the cooling of the house. Vasoula who coordinated all of this work from the office was on top of the teams working on this project and had this work done and completed very effectively and any contact with her was always handled super fast even though during this period she had some vacation scheduled once she returned she was right on top of things again - indispensable.

I have been using and recommending Atlantic Windows and Doors for over 10 yrs. Recently I had them replace all of the windows and patio door in my house on a winter install which is a first for me. The job took 3 days to install and the team did a fantastic job of removal, install and then clean-up. In all I am very satisfied with the product that Atlantic produces and equally satisfied with the installation team that they use. I have used them twice personally and have recommended them 6 times for other jobs and they haven't let me down yet in more than 10 yrs of doing business with them.
