We bought a kitchen set from The Bay because we found a set we liked and it was really affordable. We knew the quality wouldn't compare to a DeBoers or Art Shoppe but it was a temporary set for a few years. After 1 year, the wooden table legs started to split with 5mm vertical cracks. At the time we bought the furniture, we purchased the 'extended warranty' plan to cover all problems ... it was really affordable. When we called into the Bay to have the table legs repaired, the service was horrible. We were kept on hold for nearly an hour. We had to call twice. They didn't have any knowledge of what dining set we purchased. And when they sent the 'repairman' to estimate the damage... he arrived 3 hours late, he smelled heavily of smoke, his attire was mud caked and left stains on the floor, he behaviour was incredibly rude, and he forgot to grab the information about the model number to get a repair. Overall, it was affordable at first ... but it was a waste of money. I would not recommmend them at all.
