I'm sorry you had this experience. We're usually very punctual; it's rare for us to be one hour late, let alone five hours late for an appointment. You're right: William should have called to tell you. I'm sure he squeezed you in the next time because he felt bad. Sometimes, even with the best intentions, things don't turn out as planned.
As for the edges, I'm surprised William missed that. Low grass levels can't hold a flat edge. In any case, I assure you that with flat or angled edges, they are almost always the first things to deteriorate without a solid curb holding the pavement in. Nonetheless, you were told one thing and received another. For that, I am sorry. I have taken your review to heart and will talk to the staff so that clients don't get treated the same way.
