Our kitchen sink suddenly clogged. We tried drano and using a snake but nothing would work so we called this company and they had a serviceman (Michael) come to our home in less than 45 minutes. He explained to us what our options were and the rates and we opted to have the pipe snaked and the solution worked. Michael was polite, quick and professional and answered our questions. We appreciated his assistance, thank you!
Overall we are very pleased with the outcome of our walkway that was replaced in August of this year. The AHS team worked with us to ensure the look and feel is what we were looking for and we were pleased with how things turned out. Thank you for replacing our crumbling stones and setting us up with a beautiful entrance to our town house for many years to come.

I really appreciate the service and care Joe puts into his work. He came and was able to quickly disassemble my dryer and diagnose the problem (burnt out heater coil). The part I appreciate the most is that he asks a lot of questions up front so he can be better prepared and have all the necessary parts with the hope of addressing the issue in one session. Overall, Joe is a good character and very professional and I thank him for his assistance once again. Keep up the great work Joe!
I chose Cosmopolitan due to the great reviews they had on this site. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience which I had to comment on. The Good: - responded to my email within 24h - tech (Rafi) appeared to know furnaces well (.. but see below) The Bad: - individual who booked the appt (Kevin) wasn't clear - didn't inform I would have to book a separate appt for diagnosis and maintenance - didn't inform I would have to pay $129 to have my furnace diagnosed and a separate $129 to have maintenance - technician was supposed to arrive between 11-1, called at 12:45 to say he was running late; finally showed up at 2:45 - tech was unprofessional (took personal calls, swore) - tech was in a bad mood and spoke in a condescending manner The Ugly: - tech took 5 minutes to figure out my thermostat wasn't working (furnace was fine) - then tech refused to do maintenance as he didn't have time (even though that's what I booked the appt for!) - I had bought a new thermostat already and he said he could put it in for an additional another $99/hour. I said no thanks! Summary: - I came close to telling the tech to leave my home without payment because he really didn't do anything, showed up late and didn't even provide the maintenance I requested. Maybe I had a bad Tech but when I called Kevin back to raise my concerns, he never even bothered to call back. Guess I'm the only one on this site but I was not happy with my experience and wouldn't recommend this company (and I still need general maintenace for my furnace!).
I came to homestars looking for suggestions on who could come fix my fridge. I sent an email request to Joe and he responded right away the next morning and made arrangements to come to our condo that day. He showed up on time, was well prepared and didn't mind answering any questions I had. In no time, he had our fridge repaired and said to give him a call if we had any questions. I did end up having a question and Joe returned my call and re-assured me everything was fine. I would definitely use Joe again and appreciate everything he did for us!
