I contacted Cascade to fix a leaking dishwasher based on the extremely positive reviews received on this site. After their service call, I see why they receive the reviews they do. It is a husband & wife team that really knows what they are doing. Very nice folks and very knowledgeable and experienced in the business. The issues were identified quite quickly. Upon review of my problem it was determined that it was not cost effective to fix my dishwasher due to the part cost and age of the dishwasher. They were realistic in the costs associated with a repair and made their recommendation as to what I should consider doing. But at the end of the day, the decision was still mine. When the decision was made to purchase a replacement they offered a tremendous amount of insight on replacement units. They also took time to talk about some of the other appliances in my house and things I could be doing to prolong the life of the units. It was very much appreciated. I felt extremely comfortable with Cascade and I am glad I called them. For the future, I know I only need to make one phone call for my appliance needs. It was a very positive experience and I share the opinions of the people on this website.

As a previous Titans customer, I recently had the company back to replace shingles on a backyard shed. Needless to say, the work was high quality and professional. The same attention to detail that was demonstrated when they replaced the shingles on the house was evident on the shed.

We recently had a luxury vinyl floor installed in our basement by Invision Hardwood & Decor. From start to finish, we have been really pleased with the service that was provided by Dov, Roy and their crew. I can say with absolute certainty that you will not go wrong with engaging Invision for your flooring project. We first met Dov at the Toronto Home Show and had a follow up consultation at the showroom. In each instance, it was immediately apparent that Dov was extremely knowledgeable about his products and took the time to assess what our living circumstances were to make the appropriate recommendations. We had an initial belief that laminate was our best option but after consultation with Dov, luxury vinyl was more appropriate to our needs. We do not regret that decision and appreciate the time that was taken to educate us on the flooring options available. As will probably see from other reviews, Dov is very thorough in his explanation of the materials, options and installation process. We entered into the project knowing exactly what the work would entail and the anticipated timeline. From the removal of the existing carpet to the eventual floor replacement, everyone we dealt with from Invision was courteous and accommodating. The worksite was clean and there was no damage to the furniture that had to remain within the job site. The installers were hard-working and meticulous in their work. In conclusion, we were extremely satisfied with the work that was done by Invision – both in terms of product and workmanship but also with the way we were treated as customers. I would highly recommend Invision for your flooring needs – you will not be disappointed.

I contacted Arby Cartage based on the very positive reviews on Homestars to transport a dining room table and chairs from one location to another. Arby (the owner) and his partner arrived when they said they would and were very meticulous about the entire move. The table was dismantled carefully and all pieces were covered and secured to ensure there was no damage or shifting while in transit. There was absolutely no damage to any of the furniture that had been transported. In talking to Arby it was clear that he runs his business with attention to customer service. It showed in the work that he did for me. I was extremely satisfied. I would highly recommend Arby Cartage for your moving needs. Moving is one of those industries where you really don't know what you are going to get when someone shows up at the door. Arby Cartage alleviated any concerns I had and would absolutely use them again when the need arises.

Recently a wasp nest was discovered in our backyard after several people were unfortunately stung. I contacted Pesticon based on the significant number of extremely positive reviews received on Homestars. It was the only call that I made because I felt very comfortable with the reviews they had received previously. They were able to come to my home the following day to resolve the problem and were quite flexible in working around my schedule. The technician, Iftikhar, arrived at the exact scheduled time he was suppose to and was able to quickly assess the problem and locate the wasp nest. He successfully addressed the problem and removed the nest and sprayed the area to deter future nesting. Additionally, he provided insight as to how wasps select their nest locations as well as other behaviour elements to be aware of should we be faced with this problem in the future(he had a background in entomology). Bottom line is that Pesticon did an excellent job for me and I know that I will use them for any future pest issues that I may have. Give them a call to address your issue as I know you will not be disappointed.

I have the unique experience of using Titans Roofworks twice now. For my first project, I contacted five contractors before settling on Titans for the project. I was very pleased with the work they did. I subsequently moved from that house to another residence that required roof work. The second time around was much easier as I only had to make one phone call. I was very satisfied with Shawn and the Titans team the first time around that it only made sense to use Titans again. The second project was much larger but once again Titans did not disappoint. Once again, the project was done very well and within the estimated time that was indicated. I can say with absolute confidence that you will not be disappointed with the work done by Titans. I was satisified the first time and there was nothing that prevented me from being satisfied the second time around. They do excellent work and I would recommend them to my friends and family. Titans Roofworks was referred to me by a work colleague after his positive experience with the company. I had also seen a number of their signs around my neighbourhood so I knew they were already doing a fair amount of business in my local area. What was also appealling to me was that they were not a company that operated off of a cell phone and that they had a physical business address in the event there were issues that needed to be addressed. A very important consideration that I noticed as I was researching prospective companies on the internet. The initial quote experience was quite positive and all of my questions were answered. The quote package was complete and included copies of their insurance and WSIB documents - something that was not always the case with the seven companies that I had contacted for quotes. On the day the work was completed, there was a five-man crew. I spent some time watching the work done and knew there were no shortcuts being taken. The workers were very conscientious and maintained a clean job site. Cosmetically, the roof looked great and the metal flashing had also been replaced which really added to the finished product. I think it is important to note that no payment was provided until I was completely satisfied with the work. Overall, it was a very positive experience. The work was completed to my satisfaction and there were no surprises that added to the cost of the work. I am glad that I used Titans for my roof job and would encourage others to consider using them as well. I do not believe you will be disappointed with their work. They did an excellent job!
