In August 2019, Antonio (the man behind Home Front Solutions) came highly recommended by our realtor. We took our realtor's advice despite some red flags, as we were told we had been chosen to adopt a baby the week before and were very overwhelmed/busy. He was hesitant to provide a quote in writing, despite saying he would. We did eventually receive a quote in writing via email and developed a payment schedule. Initially, he discovered a real issue (not in our initial quote) and set to work fixing the problem. We received photos of his daily work. Appeased, we moved forward with the payment schedule. He postponed our move 7 times due to multiple “surprise” issues. One week before we were to move in officially, we found our home practically gutted with garbage everywhere. All the walls were painted the wrong colour, poorly, and unfinished. None of our appliances or supplies had been purchased and they were definitely not on site. We’ve begun the process to sue. This man held our newborn baby in his arms, in our rental home, and promised we would have a “safe home for our new child.” We discovered that he had liquidated his company the month before he quoted us. Because of him, we lived out of boxes for 3 months with a newborn baby and we are now in a crisis of debt at the start of our new family. His website has been removed; although he has a facebook page with his cell number posted.
