I recommend that you hire Rob’s Quality Construction to do your renovation, large or small. I have worked with them two times so far and I will be asking them to do my basement renovation next year. It was a lucky day that we hired Rob the first time 2 years ago. We originally contacted them because of their exceptional HomeStars rating. Rob and his workmen and tradespeople recently completed a large renovation of our home which included a completely new kitchen and master bathroom, new floors, trim and paint in both bedrooms and new trim and paint in all of the other rooms. The estimated time was 12 weeks work and they finished in a timely manor. My spouse and I lived in the home while the work was ongoing which was challenging but made possible by Rob’s daily communication about who was coming to work and what would be done each and every day. Rob made sure that his quote was carefully done and he discussed with us, before hand, areas that he felt that there were choices to be made. The only additions to the quote were for things that could not have been foreseen at the start. Rob immediately dealt with any surprises. For example, having the specialist come to fix an unexpected venting problem with an existing gas water heater right on the day it was discovered. There was no hold up to the schedule for the larger renovation. He discussed our options and helped us make the choices that were right for us. As the job was completed we are left with a satisfied feeling that our beautiful home has the highest quality workmanship at a fair price. No one could have done it better. It is a great feeling. Because Rob is a patient and honest man, I suspect that most of the renovations he does follow the same, efficient, plan. I cannot emphasize enough the mutual respect between Rob and his talented workmen and trades people and all of them resect the home owner and their families. During that time when there is a lot going on in your house that is out of your control and you just have to trust, Rob and his workers make sure that you feel secure that everything is being done correctly and professionally and that they are communicating with each other to give you the best job possible. One last note. Though we are young, we were interested in preparing our home for “aging in place”. Rob gave us a home that is interesting and sophisticated, now, but will be safe and practical for our future. Unexpectedly, it became immediately important because we are an active family with two large dogs. Just a couple of months after the first bathroom renovation, I was put into a wheelchair for 16 weeks with a shattered leg. You can bet that I was thankful for the flat access shower, grab bars and non slip flooring that Rob’s Quality Renovations had just installed in my bathroom. To look at the bathroom, you would just think, “Wow, what a beautiful bathroom!” but to me it was everything during my recovery. Thank you, Rob. We chose Rob’s Quality Construction Corporation because of his high rating on HomeStars. This was our first renovation experience. I give Rob my highest recommendation and advise anyone to use his company to achieve their dreams for their homes. Rob, himself, is the most patient and organized of men. I told him what I envisioned and he figured out how to achieve it. His suggestions never disappointed me and only made my renovation better. He was always available to listen to my concerns. He and his team kept close on schedule by overcoming what little trouble they ran into in a professional and skilled manner. He is, also, the most honest businessman. His quote was very fair and when we changed a couple of things he immediately re-quoted and in one case did not increase his quote because he could complete the additional request coincidentally with what he was already doing. Remarkable! I was able to acquire exactly the fixtures and tile that I wanted. Rob told me the businesses that he recommended and that gave him discounts but I was not obliged to shop there. Because I bought the fixtures myself, I will have recourse should any of them need warranty work. His team is made up of only highly skilled workmen. They were a pleasure to have work in our residence. Every day we knew who was coming to work and what they were doing and each night they cleaned up so living in the house during the 3 weeks of renovation time was not an imposition at all. Our dog looked forward to see who was coming each day and so did we. We felt that they all had great respect for each other and Rob as well as respect for us. The cabinetry in our kitchen is solid wood and we wanted a matching built-in. Great care was taken to match our cupboards so the kitchen looks beautifully unified. Lastly, I want to give credit for the fine tile work in both the bathroom and kitchen. I presented them with some unusual choices of tile and stone and Poitr embraced them like the experienced professional he is.
